Pretty much my point. Gay and Bolton were not better at first than Niemann. Bolton came on and they slowly phased out niemann and calls the defense now too. They are LBs they use for 2 lb sets. Niemann was an ILB. but that is something Gay with his speed and cover skills was better at, just took him a bit to get there after being drafted. Once they did niemann walked.

And when he is fired, they will get rid of players. Be nice to grab a couple of them lol

Gay was better but had yet to show it. Niemann ran the defense until Bolton and this was the reason Niemann is gone. Better players with one calling the defense. CEH showed promise his first year. They gave him all the chances to prove it and he will be done now for sure. I mean they have given and he has taken it, a 7th round rb the chance. Reid may be slow at times to give rookies a chance, but once they show it, he has no problem making a choice to go with it. This must be what is worrisome on a guy like Niang. Them again they know if he is fully healed, in playing shape etc. You can't just move thuney, who is nursing an injury, at game 12 to LT and expect him to be great at it. Then move OBJ to RT or Niang and plug in a LG Them expect it all to work. To me, you ride it out with OBJ at LT and if anything make one move at RT when said player is ready. OBJ either moves to RT this next off season if he is to stay and we go grab our LT or see if Niang can do RT and let obj go for a comp pick.

Thing is, we need to use the FA to get those players we can get and need. Draft then will be about getting depth, filling that one or so need, and future players with development. I hope we can get a good dt next to Jones. I hope we can get, OT help so we can go into the draft and move up if needed or go after Clark's replacement etc. There will be good FA out there for us to look at. Maybe some want to come here for a chance at the sb ring?

Add the fact we could not get multiple sacks on Burrow with that o line they have..

Jack Conklin OT if healthy and we do our due diligence. Elgton Jenkins who can play RT for us but has done center, LT and LG too. Matt Pryor OT Riley Reiff RT. Mike Mcglinchey RT. Jessie Bates S. Want him for sure. Jordan Poyer S. He has played well this year Jimmie Ward S Yannick Ngakoue DE Marcus Davenport DE, if he can stay healthy but might be worth a 1 year flyer. Brandon Graham DE Chase Winovich DE Trey Flowers DE There are plenty more. Draft looks to be deep at DE too. Also with the draft looking to be very deep at QB this will mean other players slide down. I think with this FA and draft picks we will be in a great position for many years.

Cap crap will be no more next FA season. Would love to get that FA DE pass rusher, a tackle and safety before going into the draft. Or a stud dt next to Jones too. We can have anywhere from 20 mil up to 120 mil in cap space. Get those FAs before draft and load up on all the picks. We will have them after that for future/development and depth plus the starters we get from the draft.
