  1. Problem with that is our first half is very rough per the schedule.
  2. Funny, never knew that a player could not endorse a beer. They found a way around it though. https://www.si.com/extra-mustard/2022/07/13/patrick-mahomes-coors-light-commercial
  3. I would tag him again next year. Trade then or let him play and possibly use the 3rd year tag. We can pay him a lot less and then trade him even after 2 years of tags
  4. They all seem to be structured like thst though really.
  5. The Chiefs' final offer was a six-year, $139 million deal with an average annual value of $23.16 million that included a $30.25 million signing bonus and $95 million in the first five years of the contract, according to a source familiar with deal. How is that not a good deal? that is way to much and he may play himself out if it.
  6. https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.si.com/nfl/draft/.amp/prospect-rankings/2023-nfl-draft-offensive-tackle-prospect-rankings-and-scouting-reports
  7. Slim. https://www.spotrac.com/nfl/free-agents/2023/all/left-tackle//
  8. Well yeah, I am sure he will be ST only, like he should have been here.
  9. States he is getting death threats for what he said about his new qb is more accurate. https://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/34137306/miami-dolphins-wr-tyreek-hill-says-got-death-threats-comments-kansas-city-chiefs-patrick-mahomes
  10. Slow news for football but we will have a need to fill at WR next year. Thoughts on what they say about the Chiefs? He is just 26 years old, 6 foot and 210 pounds. Good receiver etc https://www.foxsports.com/stories/nfl/nfl-odds-lines-on-terry-mclaurins-next-team-from-packers-to-chiefs?intcmp=hp1r_foxbet_obtest&dicbo=v1-f6f31d818b412a21b80e810a605488b3-00e17b74303517cbe6bf08cea931e9f870-gu4tmzbrmy3tallcg5rtmljumuzdiljzgu3daljxg5rwkn3cgu4tkmzqgm However, the most intriguing team of all is the Kansas City Chiefs. Can the home of jazz and BBQ really add McLaurin a couple of months after losing Tyreek Hill? "The Chiefs are an interesting option and could look to replace Tyreek Hill," Montanari explained. "[They] have the capital to do so with 12 projected picks in next year’s draft and coming out of this offseason with McLaurin, plus draft picks and a cheaper contract would be shrewd business by the Chiefs."
  11. Well I see that it is now thechiefscoalition.com to get here now. Threw me off for a moment but glad I got back on.
  12. one thing I thought about on this trade, will Hill be a good guy off the field? I mean he goes back to friends and family etc in Miami, will he get caught up in any drama? I always worried about that in KC and he did have that stigma against him. He did though, to his credit, do very well even with the baby mama drama that went on. I think the bigger glitz and shit in Miami though might tempt him a bit more. We will see, and I hope not for him on it.
  13. Always possible comp pick, so it might be just letting him walk for nothing.
  14. Agreed. Easy to see the bolded topics that are unread too.
  15. I believe if Reid and company had ran more, it would not have put the defense on the field so much and blowing yet another big lead against Cincy. They could help the defense so much more if we don't go 3 and out with 3 passes etc.
  16. I am sure there were teams out there that won one or no SB and had 3 hof players on it.
  17. Can't wait for the fire, insert name here, post to come.
  18. Not really Those players will be invaluable imo if they get reps and coached up right.
  19. Wow. Sounds like you are mailing it in. I think we will have a few hiccups but pick up steam and finish strong into the playoffs.
  20. Every player that has outlandish contract negotiations will come down to earth or be gone really. If Brown is asking 25 to 30 mil.....bye bye. Tag him again next year and work out a trade then. Worse we get imo is a 3rd round comp if it did not work out.
