  1. Man, I hope we get a DE to sign for 3 or 4 years. So we can draft and groom one this year too.
  2. His height with 30.5 inch verticle.... wow. I hope this works out The #Chiefs have a deal with former #Packers WR Marquez Valdes-Scantling, source confirms NFL Network’s report. Kansas City gets a big-play receiver who will add some serious size (6-foot-5) and speed (4.37) to the offense. The deal was negotiated by @NSAFootball.
  3. We will see. If given a pass happy offense and he can take the top off it will only open it up more for JJ, Kelce underneath
  4. Well he won't have an Adams type in front of him. His numbers might get better just for that. Plus we will be spreading the ball around so if he can prove to be even better, he will get more thrown his way.
  5. MVS I believe you mean? I think we may trade if value is right for a WR still. Use that then to go defense for 2 out of 3, maybe all 3 picks. DE will be a need next year too so maybe we go DE, CB and then DE. Still have a 2nd and two 3rds them to go after WR. 6 picks in top 100....if.. damn nice.
  6. With Scantlin on board and JJ a rental for a year, I think we draft I e and roll with it. Still could get Landry for a couple years too. Getting DK, I believe the asking price will go down as the WR draft is deep and also with what had gone on with signings, would free us up to draft defense big time. I think a 2nd and say maybe 6th would do it. He is no Adams or Hill. Seattle knows the longer it goes in, the keys they will get imo. Also the fact that if he plays this year, he will ask for a lot from them next year to stay
  7. Top 7 to 10 LT who will get paid as so. 21 out of 64 total but I think if yiu take out the RT you will see him about that range. Good to see you come around buy no need for PFF to tell you how he improved as he learned our system.
  8. After the WR market exploded, all signings will be going up. Landry is loving this. All due to fucking Kirk and his contract, then adams, then Hill etc..
  9. 3 years 30 mil. I just posted this too. Per Shefter Former Packers’ WR Marquez Valdes-Scantling is signing a three-year, $30 million deal worth up to $36 million with the Chiefs, per source. This is called living right: Valdes-Scantling goes from the NFL’s reigning MVP Aaron Rodgers to the NFL’s former MVP Patrick Mahomes.
  10. I too agree. I do not wish injury in Hill, but he may be due for one and it might be this year. He has the same stature that worried all of us. Thing is he will be thrown to more underneath I believe due to Tua, which means more risk and hits. Then we will see all the post thanking the front office for not extending him etc.
  11. Mahomes can see more single high safety now. He can utilize the long ball if there and still hit the underneath receivers. We may not have that one touch and go td ability we had with Hill, but we will have more options for Mahomes. He goes through his reads so quickly and his mobility allows for for more time. I think we will be fine. Look at Kelce, imagine another 3 WRs on the field that has more speed, but not hill's speed. Mahomes will find them. Just have to win the single coverages. If anyone can match up and take advantage of mismatches, it is Mahomes and Reid.
  12. Yes but we got Reiter for center back up specifically it seems.
  13. What I just said above your post. This post was a tongue in cheek about Reid not being elite.
  14. Just hope we don't get a WR like we did last time taking one in the 1st round. Fucking Baldwin.
  15. We use to hope to get into the playoffs and win just a game let alone a home game. I was in the stands for that playoff win against Indy and man was it a monkey off our back. Now do we not only want to get into the playoffs but we want to win our division and get homefield advantage. We have done that 4 years straight playing at home only. 2 SBs, one win and another possible sb if not for a penalty. We are now wanting to be in the sb every year and win more. How far we have come.
  16. Mahomes came in raw. He had to learn to get his foot work right, reads, the offensive playback etc. Everyone said it was a great place for him to go here and learn/sit for a year. I am sure almost 95% and up of us agreed. I am sure you were one of those that wanted Mahomes future right away though? Sitting and learning was a great thing for him. So much that when they saw how he progressed they were ready to move on from Smith and trade him.
  17. Lol, Mahomes has said and continues to say how much Smith helped him in preparation, reading defenses etc. There is more than watching him just play. Man you are a negative poster and your argument is refuted by Mahomes himself.
  18. Fuck it, bring back hunt at RB. Would fix a lot of things for us in offense.
