  1. So there are 2 ways of doing it. One way without consent and the other way needs a players consent. So I assume they are doing the first option for it.
  2. There are two types of restructuring: A simple restructure converts payments into prorated signing bonuses within the confines of the remainder of the contract. Teams typically have the ability to unilaterally execute simple restructures without any action necessary from the player. A maximum restructure increases the amount of cap space via conversion into prorated signing bonuses by either extending the contract or by adding void years to a contract, years that do not extend the contract but are only used as placeholders for the proration. Maximum restructures are typically considered a renegotiation of the contract that requires the player's consent to execute.
  3. I thought he would have to agree with it? Every time a restructure goes on, any article o. It, shows player X agreeing to a new restructure to lower the cap hit and help out the team. Are you saying they can do all this without his agreement?
  4. Lael Collins RT, 3 years 24 mil. Cap hit next year. Fletcher Cox 3 years at 10 mil per 20 guaranteed. JJ at 8 mil per year. Mahomes restructures and we can do it. Look for a.cheaper DE as I think Ingram may be it. Draft DE, WR, CB/S first 3 rounds.
  5. Man if we could swing getting Fletcher, our d in the middle from run stuffing to pass rushing would be sweet. Them grab JJ and draft a D end, cb etc. Mahomes may want to take the big restructure to free up money for this.
  6. GET HIM! The Philadelphia Eagles are releasing six-time Pro Bowl defensive tackle Fletcher Cox but hope to re-sign him on a reworked contract, a source confirmed to ESPN. Now that he's a free agent, however, he also will be able to sign with another team if he and the Eagles can't agree to a new deal.
  7. Well I wanted Robinson badly, but not at that price. Looks like JJ for about 8 to 9 mil for 1 year rental at this rate.
  8. Za'Darius Smith becomes latest NFL player to change his mind on a deal. Ravens believed they had an agreement on a 4-year, $35 million deal, but Smith decided not to sign it. So, Smith is a free agent and the Ravens' search for a pass-rusher continues. (@RapSheet on it first) — Jamison Hensley
  9. #chiefs have been looking into star CB Stephan Gilmore .per league source Patrick Peterson is on NFL Network right now. Mentioned that the #Chiefs are one of the teams who have expressed interest in him. He also said that "money talks" so might as well take them out of the running for time being. https://arrowheadaddict.com/2022/03/17/lael-collins-makes-lot-sense-kc-chiefs-right-tackle/
  10. No to Beasley. Robinson also can catch the tough 50/50 balls over the middle. Landry would be good too and can play slot. No to OBJ, he won't be back until November I believe. Be happy if we got Robinson, Landry or JJ in that order.
  11. Get Robinson, Hardman to slot and even Hill can play there from time to time
  12. There is our RT, but they better be sure first with him. The Cowboys will release La'el Collins today, per source. Expected to be a post-June 1 cut, saves $10 million. No trade but Collins will have a good market once he's free to sign. — Todd Archer (@toddarcher) March 17, 2022
  13. I know this, but his father thought of it as the glamorous position. Back in his day, it was. Now with the RT being as important as LT it is not much different other than his dad saw it this way. Also the fact the LT made a lot more money back then at LT etc. I am not saying they will do it, rather it is an option if it has to happen. The guy was awesome at RT. He got better as the year went along at LT and we will see how he does this year. If he is not great and we can get a LT then to improve that position, he still can go to RT for the betterment of the team. I am sure his dad would have loved to see his son win a ring over playing LT at this time and how it is viewed now.
  14. Wouldn't shock me if they moved OBJ to the right if need be. he can get paid as such because LT and RT are pretty damn close in money. Extend him first though. I highly doubt he goes RT but he did excel there.
  15. And it is costing them to do so. In the long run they will be going into cap hell of they continue to try it this way. Denver already gave away their future picks too. Chargers are the ones who need it now because Herbert won't be cheap much longer. Raiders.....well they're the Raiders.
  16. Use the draft for cb, s, DE and dt help then. Sign some depth too if needed.
  17. Gladness gone. The Cardinals re-signed TE Maxx Williams and signed CB Jeff Gladney, both to two year deals. The Cardinals have released DL Jordan Phillips.
  18. Titans plan to release Julio Jones. I think this would be a great 1 year contract on the cheap. It also further dilutes the WR FA with this and the draft being WR heavy. https://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/33519783/sources-tennessee-titans-plan-release-wr-julio-jones
  19. What DT help is out there? Saw Washington released Ioannidis due to cap. He any good for the run? He does have some pass rushing sbity per his stats. We really need to get the center of our DL solid and help the pass rush with Jones.
  20. Don't know if we have to go pick 30 but some of these guys should be there Round 2 or 3. Nick Petit-Frere OSU Height: 6-5. Weight: 315. Projected 40 Time: 5.2. Projected Round (2022): 1-2. Daniel Faalele, OT, Minnesota Height: 6-8. Weight: 387. Projected 40 Time: 5.3. Projected Round (2022): 1-3. Darian Kinnard, OT, Kentucky Height: 6-4. Weight: 324. Projected 40 Time: 5.2. Projected Round (2022): 1-3.
  21. We still have the advantage at QB lol. We also have the advantage at coaching.
  22. Chandler Jones going to Raiders Almost 17 mil per year. RT will be a need, the west is loading up on DEs
  23. Another DE hitting the market. We are still 10.5 mil over the cap, but Veach and them will get it down before 4 pm EST. Thing is, a lot of people getting cut too by other teams. Carl Nassib will be designated a post June 1 release, saving the Raiders $8 million against the cap, per source. But Nassib free to find another team now. Quote Tweet @spotrac · 21m $3M saved if the release is immediate, $8M saved if this is a Post June 1 designation. twitter.com/AdamSchefter/s…
