Allegretti has played before. What has he shown to say he can do center now? I told you before I would eat Crow if he was our starting center this year. Did he play center in the pre season game at all? Think he was at guard. He is behind a rookie and I bet Blythe too when all said and done.

If one is cut or traded it will be Allegretti. Blythe has played center for many years and is proven there. He is playing reps I believe at G as a back up. They are probably trying it with Allegretti st center too, but Blythewood is more proven. Allegretti could not even beat out or get 2nd string with the centers we have had since he was here. He does though have more tradeable aspects as he us younger.

We will see. He is on his 3rd team and traded twice for a reason.

Or you can look at it that the rookies are getting invaluable experience to take off with it? Blythe, Allegretti still are there. Remmers will rest. Ldt back by week 1. I think this is a blessing in disguise really. Forces Reid to use the rookies and spin them up now.

We gained a couple young ones, former 1st rounder, have HB and Thornhill still plus we only lost Breeland from it all. We did beef up on the d line with Reed. We have Gay with a TC and year under his belt and drafted Bolton in another LB. Seems to me we plus up where needed and dare I say, possibly got better.

I would give it time and see. Peter's may have matured but give him time. If he stays mature this season I would lean more to him being more professional then.
