  1. Sorry, all I can find is a predicting from espn insider barnwell. Maybe what I read was just going off this? https://heavy.com/sports/kansas-city-chiefs/falcons-todd-gurley-predicted-signing/
  2. No link, saw it on another site but can't find it. Been searching too as I hate to be that guy.
  3. Man, I thought we were done at rb? Thoughts? According to ESPN, it is becoming increasingly likely that the Chiefs will sign RB Todd Gurley. Would we like to see him in a Chiefs jersey and is KC the place where he can finally push past his injuries?
  4. 4 years. I bet they do 4 but the last year will be a minimal hit if cut or for pay.
  5. after seeing it, i have to agree. Looks as if he was just having some fun is all with the sound affects.
  6. A lot of what ifs....what if JJ is a great 1B receiver that has a great season opposite of Hill but not a historic type season. One that gives defenses fits to try and cover all the weapons? Injuries can happen at any time to any player. We could say what if Hill goes down and we wished we had JJ then?
  7. He is an idiot. This will though help us extend him cheaply because of his stupidity. I mean he may sign for a bit more, but I bet we have clauses in the contract to protect us because of his actions.
  8. Get him! He wants to win per his quote. https://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/31503842/julio-jones-asked-future-atlanta-falcons-says-outta-there
  9. Well if he can't look good with PM as your QB, then who thinks they can take him to be better on their team? He needs to learn to run routes better. He does this and I am sure it will all come together using that speed.
  10. Naa, let him and hill go deep with Kelce and TE2 go crossing over the middle Then swing out the rb for a quick pass. Mahomes watches the LBS and the FS to see where to attack. A defensive nightmare.
  11. 2? Just one was selected before him, Trubisky at 2nd overall
  12. The #Chiefs have signed former #Colts WR Reece Fountain. Anyone know anything about him?
  13. He took last year off, which gained us a year to help him with the playback and also for him to heal. I am sure Reid and company were fine with this. He may not have the body type of a physical specimen but he is large and still moves well. Come training camp time we will see how he does but until then body shaming him or saying he was a detriment to the team for opting out is silly.
  14. He is a big boy! I am sure he will get in better shape in camp, but he is a big man. Going to be hard to move him.
  15. Thuney and blythe/Creed will do just fine. The RG will be a great competition and RT I still say Niang will be there. We are good to go on the interior now too. Lil, an L until a cheap shot my ass. Unless you can predict the rest of the game after that play is changed you are juat sore still about it. We have lived many years with fluke plays going against us. Bound to even out some day
  16. Great thing is Denver does not have a MNF game at all. Just shows how far they have fallen.
17. Report: Chiefs traded for cornerback Mike Hughes The 24-year-old cornerback is on the final year of his rookie contract. By Pete Sweeney May 13, 2021, 4:00pm CDT 10 Comments Share this story Share this on Facebook (opens in new window) Share this on Twitter (opens in new window) SHAREAll sharing options Jeffrey Becker-USA TODAY Sports The Kansas City Chiefs have agreed to a trade with the Minnesota Vikings for cornerback Mike Hughes, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter. Sports Illustrated’s Albert Breer was first with the details on the swap — with the Chiefs getting Hughes and the Vikings’ 2022 seventh-rounder in exchange for their 2022 sixth-round pick. Hughes, 24, first entered the NFL as the 30th overall pick made by the Vikings in the first round of the 2018 NFL Draft. As a member of the Vikings over the past three seasons, Hughes appeared in 24 games with seven starts. Hughes tore his ACL after six games his rookie season and his season ended in Week 17 of 2019 due to a cracked vertebra. Hughes only played four games in 2020 before a neck injury landed him on injured reserve, though the Vikings have said that the 2019 and 2020 injuries were unrelated. In March, Chris Tomasson of the St. Paul Pioneer Press reported that Hughes is fully healthy, though the Vikings declined to exercise his fifth-year option in early May. The Vikings added three-time first-team All-Pro cornerback Patrick Peterson this offseason. Hughes has played on both the inside and outside, and he may compete for both with the Chiefs. Kansas City has wanted to potentially move second-year cornerback L’Jarius Sneed primarily to the outside, so Hughes locking up the nickel role would allow them to do that. Hughes has also participated in all four special teams units.
  18. Well give him a chance here and if he does well, extend him cheaply. No harm getting a player and going down a few spots to the 7th round.
  19. Chiefs traded for CB Mike Hughes. Chiefs and Vikings swapped late-round draft picks, with Kansas City also getting back Minnesota’s 2018 first-round pick, per source. Adam Schefter, ESPN Senior Writer6m ago
  20. Just heard on NFL network that the Chiefs with Mahomes are 26-3 career against this schedule including playoffs. 5 and 1 against Raiders. 4-1 against Chargers. 1-1 against Titans and then 16-0 against the rest of the teams.
  21. Well at lease someone can't say 8-8 any more.....
