  1. Not many line up bigger linemen as they want light and fast in defenses. With us able to just wear them down and man handle them, I think Reid is in front of the offensive plans again for the NFL. Will be great to maul them while able to still pull and let our speedsters wreak havoc.
  2. Well if Creed can shot gun snap without problems, it will be a good competition. I think Blythe has it now until Creed shows he can take it and do it. Blythe is the vet so I would give him the edge for now until they are seen in camp.
  3. Signed Parks to a one year deal From Philly, defensive back.
  4. Don't forget too that most rookies take a good year to get up in strength and learn the offense etc. A vet already has experience and as you said proven too.
  5. Lol did you see our sb line last year and where they were picked at in the draft? Many 5th to 6th round or later played a lot.
  6. Well he nailed the o line for sure. If it works out, I can't wait to see mahomes with time to throw.
  7. Seems so. I do hope we try for Ndjoku (sp?) The TE from Cleveland in a trade. Groom and mentor Gray, but then see with this guy too. Also if both work out, resign and go on from Kelce in 3 or 4 years when he should be about done.
  8. Think some of line hit PS. One guy will get IR. Really though with the season as it was and not seeing all them play it will be hard to say. I think training camp will be a huge blessing this year. Do we get to wait to last few days to make the cuts like last year? I hope so. Gets those guys more time to see them. Also only 3 ore season games this year is it as we go to 17 games? Or is that next year.
  9. December 13th he was cut. He was claimed off waivers by chiefs.
  10. 2 to 4 games left in the season I thought
  11. I think him trading our first has done well. Yes Clark could be viewed as not great, but Veach went out and got a proven talent. It helped our defense, filled a hole and though not spectacular he has done a good job. Now he goes and trades for another proven vet 2 time pro bowler at LT. I think this has done us very well.
  12. There are plenty. Manning with Broncos and his neck injury too. Heck, Montana and Allen for us was huge. There are also plenty of examples the other way too that go bad.
  13. Yeah, I said that before. Why they let Wilson go imo. Gay will be there and I think we see Bolton pushing for time later on in the year. Hitch will be gone next year.
  14. Spags is notoriously bad in starting rookies. His scheme takes a whole year to learn and Gay by all I have seen struggled in practice and much of the year.
  15. But having that vet still is good depth too. If a young player does win it out them depth is always a plus. Also the fact the vet is there to mentor players too.
  16. What personal attacks? If anyone is mad it seems to be you. Thst or you truly do have thin skin if you see me pointing out what someone else said and I agree with. I mean saying for me to calm down as if you know me at all? Lol, that is a personal attack then per you. Hurt my feelings. /sarcasm.
  17. Some youngsters even with training snaps though are far behind. It may take a year, especially in Spags defense, ti understand it. This is why a vet may be good to mentor or have until that young player is up to speed. I think we saw this with Gay last year. Wilson knew the system and Gay just was not getting it. Hopefully what we saw a ND f the year we will see and improve on. Probably another reason why Wilson left as he knew Gay was the man.
  18. I am fine. You thinking I am upset is funny in itself. I am not the one cutting out all 30 year old and above free agents or cut from a team etc. If you thought like me, as House said, you would not have an obtuse view of it all. Imagine not looking to better yourself no matter where or who the player could be. Such a great idea.
  19. Lol this was before Brown. I mean I am sure you were looking at other LT like Villenueva to Okung etc. One could go back and see. Then again you thought Allegretti was going to be our center too.
  20. Yeah, Fisher and Swartz. Let me guess though, they don't meet your narrow minded requirements. You never wanted them back huh?
  21. Last post. You said who would you want or out there etc. I just said he would be one I would look at. I mean kicking tires is what many love about Veach. I am so glad to know that any player with injury, over 32, wait 30 it is now, at certain positions are not worth looking at. Especially if their original team did not want them. Think of all the time Veach can save now.
