  1. Read it was a pinched nerve type thing. Not a concussion.
  2. LDT may have lost his playing weight and enjoy being a doctor. Would not surprise me if he chose not to come back.
  3. Maybe to be safe? Because of his reaction and looking like a new born Bambi on his feet they erred on the safe side?
  4. Sorry, meant roster bonus. They can use any portion of it to spread out against the cap the following years. See below. Patrick Mahomes’ roster bonus The first thing the Chiefs will almost assuredly look at in order to save money is Patrick Mahomes’ $21.7 million roster bonus. In The Art of NFL Contracts: Part 4, I went over how teams can restructure contracts to save money, and that is mainly what the Chiefs would do with Mahomes’ roster bonus. The Chiefs would convert the money in a roster bonus to a signing bonus, which the team could then spread out over five years against the salary cap. If the Chiefs convert all of Mahomes’ 2021 roster bonus to a signing bonus, the team can immediately save $17.4 million. This doesn’t come without a cost, however. Mahomes’ salary cap hit until 2025 would go up by $4.4 million each year. This isn’t a small chunk of change. The Chiefs can choose a smaller portion to convert to a signing bonus, but Mahomes’ roster bonus is definitely the first place the Chiefs will be looking for instant salary cap savings, as Mahomes is the safest bet the Chiefs can mortgage some of the future on.
  5. Harbaugh faired well. True, not an OC but coaches do learn from Reid. From his preparation to work ethic etc. Reid is just a genius when it comes to the offense and has probably forgotten more about offense than he could ever teach his OCs.
  6. You save over 17 million by giving Mahomes a signing bonus conversion alone. We have plenty of options.
  7. I t boned a car, never hit my head but suffered from a concussion. Just the whiplash of it concussion me.
  8. OK. Looked like he may have bumped his head but not hard. The way he was tackled around the neck is what did it would be my guess.
  9. 4 fucking points from Butkers misses is why we lose, if we do. 26 to 17 looks a lot better than 22 to 17
  10. Should have been 16 point lead. Fucking Butker. Mahomes I hope is alright but imagine now if it came down to us needing a FG to win and he is not there. Loiked ti be neck injury as he ran unassisted into the locker room
  11. Weird. I got my info from nfl .com too dated 10 November. Maybe they updated it? A team that lose a minority coach or executive to a head coach or general manager job with another team will receive a third-round compensatory pick for two consecutive years, per Pelissero. If a team loses a minority coach and an executive to HC and GM roles, that club will receive a third-round compensatory pick for three consecutive years.Teams that lose a minority coach or executive to a head coach or general manager job with another team will receive a third-round compensatory pick for two consecutive years, per Pelissero. 12. The gist of the resolution: • A team that loses a minority assistant coach who becomes a head coach or loses a personnel executive who becomes a general manager will receive third-round compensatory picks in each of the next two drafts. • A team that loses two minority staffers to head coach and general manager positions would receive three third-round picks.
  13. That has been mine all year. I think we liked the results. 😉
  14. We would have our 3rd rounder. EB 3rd rounder this and next year and a 3rd rounder from Poles this year. If Poles is hired next year we would get two 3rd rounders then dor him next year and the year after. Since both could be hired this year we would only get three 3rd rounders from both. Two this year and ine next year plus our regular draft picks.
