  1. Sad thing is we start off slow and we win big. Opposite to be true when we start off fast, we let them get back into it and make it a game. Be nice to just beat teams from start to finish through the SB this year.
  2. Nope. We still have Reid who can take a loss of an OC any day. Getting those extra picks are huge for it. If anything keep churning out guys like EB and get the picks.
  3. That is my prediction for worry game. Choose another score.
  4. Does getting smoked by the Chiefs have one? Maybe a peace pipe?
  5. Score early and often. Make them play catch up. Double Landry and use the rest man to man. Load up the box with the rest. We can stop the running game. Hell we did it before against Henry. Put the pressure on Mayfield and we will see mistakes made by him.
  6. We wanted the Michigan center/guard last year in the first per reports. I don't think the brass cares of where we should take anyone.
  7. Yeah. Sucks for them but that is the plus for a bye.
  8. What i want too. Bring in the vet now. Draft the position and let them battle next year. If the drafted center is not working out then draft again.
  9. Bring in a Vet. Let them play the year or two while we address it via draft. Then play the draft pick or continue to pick in other drafts until we get it right. Being in a guy like Hudson would be a no brainer if we could only afford him. Kelce too. Give a mid to late try on center then and see what we have.
  10. Still is a lot to replace. Yes they have been playing here and there. Hell Rankins first action in almost 2 years was it? Thing is, do you continue to do this while protecting the franchises QB? Of all positions we need a center. That position is key to calling plays and anchoring the IOL. Would be great to go get a center or a really good FA one imo. Hell being Hudson back.
  11. Man that is 4 new starters in place. I am all for upgrading though but I bet LDT is back in place unless he is beaten out badly.
  12. Unlucky bounce....indy game with Luck for the td, pass deflection to Mariotta for a catch and td by him, phantom PI call, holding etc....
  13. I am not your pal, buddy. If you know south park you will know the reference
  14. Strength conditioning coach tested positive for covid. No one in the facilities the last 2 days plus the bye week is huge for us now. Trace contacting is being done.
  15. Well he has 2 to 4 weeks so he has 2 full weeks. I hit 3 by mistake but even then the AFC championship would maybe be possible then. The thing I was trying to convey is that this bye week was huge for him and the team.
  16. Chiefs rookie linebacker Willie Gay has been diagnosed with a high ankle sprain. He's looking at a 2-4 week recovery. Good news really. With 3 weeks to play our next game I would rest him up until Wednesday of the game week and see them how he feels. Would be about 2.5 weeks then. If not good, give him another week and wait until the AFC Championship game to play.
  17. Yeah. I see no money though on his contract. Also once he was cut he became a FA. Dies his rookie contract still hold then? I mean Hunt was in the same boat and did it not become his 2nd contract thus negating his rookie deal? That is what is so weird. It shows 2021 KC next to him but no monies at all per cap/contract. https://www.spotrac.com/nfl/kansas-city-chiefs/deandre-baker-29065/#
  18. With myself? I am just showing what I find. There is no numbers next to his contract next year. All I have found is we signed him for this year as shown above. Try finding more yourself Lukas.
  19. Actually he is unsigned next year. With his injury and him knowing this team now, he might be a cheap sign next year for us. I can see a 3 year deal with not much money. Deandre Baker signed a 1 year, $58,800 contract with the Kansas City Chiefs, including an average annual salary of $58,800. In 2020, Baker will earn a base salary of $58,800, while carrying a cap hit of $58,800.
  20. FA signings too. He was up againat the cap and could not resign many if his own FA. He would then go out and spend or trade big money on a QB or RT that would not pan out. I think at one time he had 3 QBs he was paying for and not even on the team. He lost out on many good players they could not resign and had to let go who did good else where. The guy without Manning would have been done a long time ago.
  21. Yes via FA but paid the price in not being able to sign the majority of his 2nd year contracts. This dried up the well really quickly plus he could not draft a QB to save his life.
  22. If he is paid, it counts as a good year whether on IR or not. We will have to tag said player for a round designation and I believe get a chance to match contract or we get the round/draft pick tendered from that team who signs him.
