  1. If he was involved, we will need another WR for sure in the FA. If anything, he will be suspended for a few games. If he gets a fall guy, he is still a fuck up and we won't know for sure until the investigation is done. We still need to protect the WR position either way. No matter what, having his name thrown around does not do us any good.

  3. Friday, March 29 5:24 p.m. The Titans officially announce their trade to acquire cornerback L’Jarius Sneed from the Chiefs. The announcement took place after the league had released Friday’s transaction report.
  4. Baker led the Big 12 with 1,139 receiving yards on 52 receptions with seven receiving touchdowns in 2023. His 21.9 yards per reception ranked second in the nation and helped him earn a First-Team All-Big 12 selection. https://atozsports.com/kansas-city/chiefs-ucf-javon-baker-demarcus-robinson-top-30-visit-2024-nfl-draft/
  5. They have already done quite a few, including ones with Boston College OL Christian Mahogany and University of Northern Iowa DT Khristian Boyd. https://atozsports.com/kansas-city/chiefs-top-30-visit-byu-kingsley-suamataia/
  6. Josh Reynolds to the Broncos. 2 years 14 mil. https://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/39821068/source-broncos-signing-ex-lions-wr-josh-reynolds-2-year-deal
  7. Yep he signed today. On Tuesday, Ian Rapoport reported that not only did Sneed pass his physical with his new team, but he also signed a massive contract extension. The 27-year-old will be with the Titans on a four-year, $76.4 million contract with $55 million guaranteed.
  8. https://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/39815804/sources-steelers-sign-ex-falcons-rb-cordarrelle-patterson There goes one of the better KR on the market. Steelers jumping on him with the new kickoff rules in effect.
  9. Round 1 we go WR unless there is a guy that drops and is a stud at DT imo. Dark horse here would be CB. Round 2 OT. The more I read on this guy, the more intrigued I am. https://lastwordonsports.com/nfl/2024/03/16/kiran-amegadjie-2024-nfl-draft-profile/ Read the article but he is a huge guy with long arms and strong lower body. May take some time to really get into it all, but man if they do their due diligence......and pick him to really train him up, it would be huge. Amegadjie’s Strengths Elite size for the offensive tackle position. Looks like he’s built in a lab with his thick build and big legs. Elite measurements with insanely elite 36 and one-eighth-inch arms. It could be a major advantage at the NFL level. Arms are in the 95th percentile. Great run blocker, especially when playing under control. Has rare strength and moves defenders against their will. Can displace and turn defenders quickly, opening holes. With his aggression and power, he is a natural weapon on double teams and down blocks. Can reach block and hook the defender and climb to the second level with ease and control. He is underrated as a pass pro, especially when he’s at his best. His great strength allows him to swallow pass rushers. He can thrive in multiple sets, including quick sets and jump sets. His long arms and quick feet allow him to mirror rushers past the quarterback. Has the ultimate nasty temperament to want to destroy and dominate his opponents. Brilliant at recognizing while having the talent to pick up stunts and twist. Amegadjie’s Weakness He played at the Ivy League conference at Yale. Poor competition will be a major step up in the translation to the pros. He can get way too aggressive. I love his aggressive mindset, but it can sometimes get him in trouble, leading to missed blocks and losses to counters. Inconstant hand placement and timing. With a lack of hands strikes post and timing, he will get exposed at the NFL level. This could lead to many times his hands getting swiped down, making it easy for the rusher to apply pressure. A late Quad injury in the 2023 season has led him to miss part of the NFL Draft process. Can not start at Tackle day one—draft and stash player.
  10. Doing their due diligence I am guessing if they know what he is worth a team may try and trade up?
  11. The DT above is built like a tank. Shorter than what I think Spags usually goes for but he has a quick first step and is a NT type guy. Imagine him having rushing ability and also to just plug the middle. Next to Jones he would have a lot of 1 on 1 situations.
  12. I see the WR and OT which we need. I like the TE, OG and DT prospects too. Some mid round guys that can develop. Wr round 1, Paul in round 2. Get the OG in round 3, DT in round 4. What intrigues me is Theo Johnson who could be a mid day type pick in 3 to 4 range?

  14. Many of us have been talking stout draft after the trade, cap space and even next year's FA of our own guys etc. Thought I would make a thread for it with about a month to go for the draft. One thing I think is we extend either Bolton or Creed this season. I do believe, unless getting a great deal....Trey Smith is gone. End of round 3? Maybe slips to 4. Let him develop for the year. Played LG, RG and 78 snaps at RT. Good breakdown below too. https://steelersdepot.com/2024/03/2024-nfl-draft-scouting-report-boston-college-og-christian-mahogany/
  15. Yes, a great amount of cap and 10 plus picks. We can hopefully extend a couple this year and do what we need to in FA. I think Botlon or Creed gets extended in season. Then one gets a FA contract. Hit the depth if we can but I see a few FA acquisitions. I think Smith may be gone because man that guard market went up close to 20 mil per year. I can see us drafting a replacement this yeat.
  16. See above in my post what they have for next year and the draft picks so far.
  17. Chiefs stockpiling 2025 NFL draft picks The Chiefs appear to be stacking up the picks in the 2025 NFL draft. The Sneed trade gives them what will in all likelihood be a fourth pick in the top 100. As things currently stand, Kansas City could already have as many as 10 picks in the 2025 NFL draft, giving Veach a lot of capital to work with in the future. Buffalo Bills sign former Los Angeles Chargers defensive lineman Austin Johnson As for the future pick acquired, that sets the team up with quite the collection of draft picks come April of 2025. These are the picks we know they have for certain: first round second round third round third round (Tennessee Titans - L'Jarius Sneed) fourth round fifth round seventh round (New York Jets - Mecole Hardman) This is a pick they could have: seventh round (Conditional - Carolina Panthers - Ihmir Smith-Marsette) We don't yet know if the conditions were met for the Chiefs' trade of Smith-Marsette. They either own their own seventh-round pick or the Panthers' seventh-round pick. These are the compensatory picks they're currently projected to receive: seventh round (Tommy Townsend) seventh round (Willie Gay Jr.) Compensatory pick projections via Over The Cap's Nick Korte. There can still be canceled out with future free agent signings by the Chiefs. Re-signing players and signing players who were released would not count against the comp pick formula. https://atozsports.com/kansas-city/chiefs-updated-nfl-draft-picks-2024-2025-ljarius-sneed-trade/ Then take into effect we can roll over cap space to next year if we don't use it all etc.
  18. Every pick next year is worth less because no one knows where exactly it will be. Why I do wish we had their pick this year. We won't have too much need next year if we hit the draft this year. If we get a LT and WR we will be good. Need DT also to develop and a TE. I say this that we retain our own starters like Creed, Bolton etc. This cap space cleared from Sneed I hope we use to extend them before FA next year. If I am reading this right, we are at 64 mil in cap space next year as it stands now. We could go out and get the WR, TE etc needed, resign our own and still have next year's draft too. https://www.spotrac.com/nfl/kansas-city-chiefs/cap/2025/
