That is what i am saying. A late round draft pick. Let him groom and learn under Reid and Mahomes. Reid is a master of flipping QBs and takes chances on late to UDFA picks. If he sees something in this QB we could have a cheap and young back up. Reid took a high school coach off the street last year when Mahomes was out. He could do it with Rosen too. Rosen has NFL experience too and is ahead of any late round or UDFA easily now.

Again. If he sees meaningless games etc. I think learning under Reid would do wonders for him. Also if talented he may be a better back up than Henne or whoever too with his young age and talents.

Yes. But a former high 1st round pick, who i think Andy can do wonders with. If he is still there late in the season before the draft then why not? Just like taking late round qb picks in the draft any ways but this guy has nfl experience and more tape on him.

Interesting thought. Trade for Rosen from Miami. Former first round qb can be had on the cheap. Let him learn and show case his talents learning from Reid. Then flip him for a high draft pick say a second or what not. I am sure he would be a good reclaim project for Reid. Say a 5th and then flip later on? I know not likely at all, just thinking out of the box.

Funny, one would think they would know if he is a good fit or not before signing him to a 3 year deal. They just got lucky to use this as an excuse. I am sure he will fight it and still get some money from them. If he can give us a 1 year deal and still has something left I am fine with it.

We were without Hill for 4 games last year and a few without Watkins. We will be fine as I expect the RB position of CEH to get a fair amount of receptions this year too.

He is 32 and looks to be declining. May push Reiter for the starting job but if anything more depth at the interior line.

Conditioning needs to be pushed. It is how you get better and stronger. If you dont push it, then come game time you might get an injury then. His injury from 1 on 1 drill does not sound bad and it is not anything he has not done thousands of times. Watkins is a walking foot and soft tissue injury waiting to happen whether he puahes himself or not.

Both good qbs. I just think you will do better in the long run with Mahomes over LJ. So far we seen it is true. I do think Reid would get the best out of either one but i am extremely happy we have Mahomes.

So much goes into this. Teams played is one big one. Wish we had Miami, Cardinals etc on our books last year. Then take into effect injuries on our side too with Mahimes, Hill etc. Hell it was not until the titans game did Hill play with Mahomes and watkins finally. Not including line that was hurt like Fisher. We will see this year with them olaying a first place schedule and trying to stay more healthy than us last year plus teams really focusing on making LJ throw more etc.

Nnadi will do fine. He is the starter ahead of Pennell too.
