  1. Well he has Foles now who knows Reids offense and should do much better than Trubisky.
  2. According to Gil Brandt(the godfather of football), the Chiefs signed the #1 undrafted Wide Receiver, the #1 Offensive Tackle, the #1 Cornerback and the #2 Center http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap3000001111597/article/top-undrafted-rookie-free-agents-following-the-2020-nfl-draft
  3. Childress, Spags and Frazier were nothing to brag about either as HC.
  4. Just like power rankings. I have a Donks friend who liked to quote them and the draft grades all the time. He has shut up the last few years especially with regrading the picks and how badly they are in power rankings.
  5. Going to be good to sign the best to PS after a few hit IR of course. Excited to see who rises out if all this.
  6. I always love seeing the 2 or 3 year re grades. Saw one for 2017 and we were an A+ from a C- while denver got a D+ down from an A

  8. Why do people say should have drafted the cb we got in the 7th round in the 5th? Even better we got him in the 7th. Trust veach and spags on the 5th rounder.
  9. Mahomes did not throw less to give Hunt carries so I doubt he does it with CEH.
  10. Wow. One thing Veach does well is find those hidden gems. Grab Welch LB from Iowa!
  11. Yeah i left out a couple of words and edited it. A 6th next year will be late we hope and usually a round lower when you trade future picks. I like that they saw a guy they wanted and pretty much gave up same value in the future to get him.
  12. Nice. Get a guy now at CB and give up the pretty much the same round pick which looks to be even late 6th round if all goes well
  13. Pre-Draft Analysis Sneed is a big and versatile defensive back who moved from corner to safety in 2019. He ran the fourth fastest 40 at the combine. He runs well on a straight line, but he's tight and gets grabby at times on tape. He's an effective wrap-and-drag tackler. He's not a downhill thumper and ideally he fills out his frame if he plays safety full time in the NFL. -- Steve Muench

  15. He went for a 5th round this year and a 3rd next. Not a huge haul. Plus SF will have to make cap room. So they go from Staley to Williams and it cost them cap space plus picks.
  16. Put Amik in the slot? Can Fenton do well on the outside then?
  17. I wondered the same thing in a post before. We did try signing Peat who is the same size. Gallery was taller and excelled as G. Banner is taller and is a guard. So it can be done, just have to see how he adjust to it.
  18. My son played for the Raiders in flag football in 4th grade. He was a Raiders fan then not knowing what it meant. It hurt me. I no longer have a son. He really is a chiefs fan now along with my other son. All my family is.
  19. They have picked some in the draft and they just did not work out. Will keep it to rounds 1-4 selections. Peters R1 and Nelson R3 in 2015. 2016 they went Russell R3 and Murray R4. 2017 R4 was the highest CB pick in Tremon Smith. 2018 we traded Alex Smith and part of the comp back was Fuller. No CB picked other than 6th round. 2019 no pick R1-4. Only CB was Fenton in R6. So while we have used our high 1st or 2nd round picks in trades during this time for Mahomes and Clark we still did try for CBs either drafted or part of a trade.
  20. This is what I like to see. He could/will compete at G. Him next to Fisher will be a huge improvement. They can work footwork technique with him then too. He has the athleticism and strength to do guard for our scheme. Only questions I have of him moving to G will be his recognition of stunts and twist. Also his pad level being so tall as a G. I really hope he can do it though and we find that G to OT later when going forward.
  21. Replace a lot? Naaa. Some will leave like the 1 year rentals and some will stay. Breeland, Jones (who can be tagged again if not signed) Pennel, Watkins, Robinson, Colquitt, Hamilton, Seals Jones, Kpass, Remmers, Sherman who always seems to resign 1 year at a time, Reiters, Williams, sorensen, Wilson and Mahomes all UFA. 16 total UFA. Who do we keep? Well we will see on Breeland, Seals Jones and Pennel this year and their play. Jones and Mahomes they will get but Jones could still get tagged. Kpass i think will be back along with sherman. Wilson may be a keeper too. Have to see on Remmers. The rest are no big lost. Watkins only comes back at a discounted price for his play time he has given us. It is not all that bad and we may see some signings after the season starts like Mahomes. I see about 6 or so we will keep. Cap will go up. We have FA before draft with more picks next year and can look at some holes to address like a C or WR. Draft the guys for those others lost. A hole at IOL for remmers and/or Reiters. Hole for Watkins as I see Hardman stepping it up for the 2nd WR apot or 3rd for sure. Hole at CB but we may still address it yet this year. RB hole with Washington and Williams gone. We did get a RB this year and have Thompson too next year. Still will not be a huge need other than depth type and relief player. 2nd TE unless we keep Seals Jones but again we dont seem to use the 2nd all that much so far. Still Kelce replacement will be needed soon. Really not a lot of holes or players we cant bounce back from if they dont resign here. I think we will be fine next year. So CB depth/starter, WR and possible IOL next year as holes or needs going into FA and draft next year. Possible we resign yet also. Other smaller areas of need are LB as what do we do with Wilson or do we cut Hitchens and get a guy in FA? 2nd TE and RB.
