  1. Well i am sure there will be good coaches that want to come here for a chance to be with Mahomes. Reid assistants will have first crack for sure imo. If Bienemy still has not been given a chance by then i can see him for sure.
  2. Hell no. Most of you would not even put pants on then.
  3. If they did a Ricky Williams trade like this I would let him go in a heartbeat.
  4. Remember trading and getting picks in all the first round picks? That was fun for me and i believe where you started your trade posts.
  5. Well it is worth it for a lot of them. See how the Pats would do with vet signings. Also it seems our environment under Reid seems to be what players love too.
  6. Just need to see and if so, sign for a long term deal. Mahomes can really help with this and other FAs wanting to come to play with him and for Reid. I hope for a huge season for Mahomes this year, and healthy too. Maybe push for the single season yard record?
  7. Win back to back and i can see a tag and trade of Jones next year. FAs will come big time for a good chance to win it all and see the multiple ring potential.
  8. https://fansided.com/2020/04/13/kansas-city-chiefs-bold-predictions-patrick-mahomes-super-bowl/4/ Travis Kelce will start to decline as Chiefs Kelce is a match-up nightmare at tight end that causes a ton of problems for opposing defensive coordinators. He led the Chiefs in catches and receiving yards last season with 97 and 1,229 respectively. Look for both totals to decrease in 2020. This does not mean Kelce is going to suddenly become an average tight end. He’ll still be elite at the position for several more seasons. However, it’s foolish to ignore the reality that he’s now playing in his 30s. His best days are behind him from an athletic perspective. Fortunately, the myriad of weapons surrounding Kelce in the receiving corps will allow him to continue to produce at a high level even when age starts to erode his skills. The sheer speed of guys like Sammy Watkins and Mecole Hardman make it really difficult to double team Kelce on a consistent basis. He’s still got more than enough juice to win a high percentage of one-on-one battles. If you look at his game closely in 2020 you’re going to see a receiver who doesn’t have quite as much burst down the seam as he did during his prime. Kelce’s decline will be subtle, but they will start to appear this season.
  9. There was an article I read on this. Will have to see if i can find it.
  10. 20 to 30 pounds to light for that though to be a DT imo. He cant get a rush if he is being pushed around by a 315 pound guard.
  11. Well if he cant stop from being pushed around by a 315 pound guard...... he wont be effective at all at stopping the run. 283 is light for a run stopping type DT. Hell even any type of DT. He has the size of a DE.
  12. Well if people are not going and seats are empty.....i am sure the prices will come down with demand being low. I highly doubt though as i see this over well before the season starts.
  13. 7 straight and we scored on 8 straight possessions with the last one being a FG.
  14. I will be there. Imagine the seats you could get cheaply too!
  15. Especially if he can get a pick out of him or free up cap space to get another needed player.
  16. Harris helped us with TE Seals-Jones signing here. https://www.arrowheadpride.com/2020/4/13/21219701/demetrius-harris-comments-led-ricky-seals-jones-to-chiefs Seals-Jones took the conversations he had with Harris in Cleveland and — in a sense — cross-checked that information with the pitch from Chiefs. The message that general manager Brett Veach and the coaching staff delivered checked out. “I felt like Kansas City was honest,” added Seals-Jones. “Talking with Demetrius all of the things that he had said previously they had said now in the present. It was like what they said and what he said were not two different things. You got a player who left and still shows respect for that organization and loves that organization. So that gives you a little bit of confidence when you’re going in and talking to another team. And they love Demetrius, so it was perfect and that helped. Then the offense and how they use their 12 personnel (two-tight end sets), it kind of all fit in perfect for me.” When Seals-Jones entered the league three years ago, he was asked to transition from a college wide receiver to the tight end position — a process he explained he is still going through. “When I made the switch over, I pretty much just had to pretty much learn a new position and also keep learning — put the extra tools in my toolbox,” h said. “I look at it as I’m still learning the tight end position, and I’m a great route runner and catcher, but I can always be better, so I just come in every day and work on everything as a whole to make my whole game better.” There are likely not many better guides in the world than Travis Kelce, who Seals-Jones will understudy if he wins the job. Seals-Jones noted that he realizes being Kelce’s backup comes with special teams expectations. Bell played 50% of the Chiefs’ special teams snaps last season, which will now be somebody else’s duty. “I’m willing to do whatever to help the team win,” said Seals-Jones. “I played special teams in Arizona and in Cleveland. Special teams is not something that I don’t want to do. If they need me to do it, I’ll do it. I’m cool with special teams. It does not bother me, not one bit.” Seals-Jones explained that because the Chiefs’ offense is so explosive, it was an easy decision once his agent informed him that they had reached out. Seals-Jones had the opportunity to play at Arrowhead Stadium in 2018 when he was a member of the Arizona Cardinals. The tight end remembered that November day well. “Crazy fanbase,” he said. “That fanbase is, I would say, top five in the NFL. Great atmosphere. I’m excited to be a part of it and not against it.”
  17. He got his ring. We owe nothing more to him. Only way to keep him is if he takes a pay cut to around his net worth rank among punters. With how Veach has worked the cap that few million would be gold. Heck, maybe we can get a trade in and pick up a 5th or 6th round pick.
  18. I like PK. Loved to read his Monday morning QB back in the day.
  19. There is no way would I trade Jones and give them a pick (4th rounder) too for the 26th pick.
  20. 26. Miami Dolphins (from Houston Texans) Trade with Kansas City Chiefs Dolphins get: DT Chris Jones, 4-132 Chiefs get: 1-26 The Dolphins spent millions to improve their defense this offseason, but the pass-rushers they imported were guys like Shaq Lawson and Emmanuel Ogbah. Both have upside, but neither is a star. Jones is, and the Dolphins have both the cap space and the draft capital to get a deal done. He would head directly into the starting lineup alongside 2019 first-rounder Christian Wilkins and give Miami one of the league's best interior disruptors. Jones has 24.5 sacks and 49 knockdowns over the past two seasons, and at age 25, his best days are still ahead of him. The Chiefs will miss Jones, but if they don't want to pay the Mississippi State product, this is fair value. 32. Kansas City Chiefs Trade with Los Angeles Chargers Chiefs get: 2-37, 2020 fourth-round pick, G Forrest Lamp Chargers get: 1-32 The Super Bowl champs don't need much; their weakest spot is along the interior of the offensive line, but that's a spot in which Andy Reid typically trusts his coaching staff to mold midround picks and castoffs from other teams into starters. The Chiefs can trade down and potentially do both this offseason, as they would have two second-rounders while adding a former top-40 pick in Lamp, who has been limited to nine games over three seasons with the Chargers due to injuries. The Chargers could move up to secure a fifth-year option on a player they like, and if they don't draft a quarterback early, this could be an attempt to get ahead of the Colts at No. 34 if somebody falls to the bottom of Round 1. https://www.espn.com/nfl/draft2020/story/_/id/29018757/2020-nfl-mock-draft-all-trades-32-picks-32-trades-bill-barnwell
  21. What will Speaks be? A DE or a DT at this point?
  22. Agreed. Between the two I would take Jones too. Not because he is a Chief, he is though the better player.
  23. The cap space situation obviously won’t stay this way, because the Chiefs need around $5 million in order to pay their selections in the 2020 NFL draft. https://chiefswire.usatoday.com/2020/03/30/kansas-city-chiefs-salary-cap-space-update-177-dollars/
  24. I am watching and waiting on Osemele. Bring him in and see how he is health wise. I think he would take a shot for a ring. Be a good 1 to 2 year guy and upgrade at G. Draft center and continue to develop Rankins and/Allegretti for depth and RG?
