  1. Could have been worse. At least he allowed candy wrappers.
  2. We have drafted our last 2 centers in the 2nd round when we did draft one. Pick 32 is as close to 2nd round as you will get. Even better if he trades down imo and gets his guy plus picks up more picks.
  3. His last year of the contract was 2019. He is a FA now if he comes back.
  4. 1.5. Tua #1.18 OL #1.26 Jones trade #2.39 Whatever they like, BPA or another OL #2.56 Jones Trade if 26 and 56 or BPA #3.70 Jones Trade if they go 26 and 70 or BPA they can address DT, OL twice and still get their QB at 5th pick. Plus have either the 56th or 70th pick not used in a trade for Jones at 18 plus 26/56. Man they have some fire power in picks.
  5. LB, CB and IOL type guys to groom or start. This year Hardman will have another year to learn and we should see improvement on him. If not go WR next year for sure unless one falls that is BPA. Then let him learn too this year. I would like to see TE. With Jones and this being his possible last year I can see DT too. The chiefs always seem to draft what they know will not be back next year. So this will be a telling sign if they do. All of this plus next year's draft, FA period and cuts yet still to come when we should have even more picks from comp and having our allotted ones too. Not including how the cap will look and we come off some huge contracts too. Dynasty building time after back to back SB win of course.
  6. I would say what Ford did was bad. He did not line up 3 times off sides costing us points and the game at the end. True we could have probably the game winning int. Still though up to that point and not stopping them in OT we had other chances. Fuck head blew the whole game for us many times in 1995.
  7. 26 and 70 the lowest. 26 and 56....done deal. I think he plays this year and is tagged next then traded if no deal is in place for an extension though.
  8. Keep Schwartz and Ward for sure. Like to keep Penell at right price. Kpass i will wait and see how he does this year but he could be another. The rest can go if they want silly money. If they get that type of money the better for us on comp picks.
  9. Just awesome, yet again, by Veach. We can use this year to get BPA, go after guys for LB and still IOL plus have cuts, next years draft and FA to get more done with more cap. All of this plus the fact that these 1 year deals can turn into even more comp picks like they did this year for us!
  10. Chiefs adding punter. https://chiefswire.usatoday.com/2020/04/08/kansas-city-chiefs-to-sign-former-notre-dame-punter-tyler-newsome/?fbclid=IwAR1evMur2xl5Rjk1q0MDB-GWta1-E05gk5MxrVz6LQTr7zmbgCqR0LXE6yw The Kansas City Chiefs continue to add depth to their roster, and this time they’ve added some competition among the specialists. The Chiefs have agreed to terms with former Notre Dame punter Tyler Newsome on a one-year deal, as first reported by Desmond Talbot of NFL Draft Diamonds and confirmed by Kansas City Star beat reporter Herbie Teope. It’s no secret that Dustin Colquitt is approaching the end of his career. He’s the longest-tenured player on the Chiefs’ roster and turns 38 years old in May. There’s no indication that he’s set to retire, but the Chiefs need to continue to prepare for his eventual departure. Last season, they brought in undrafted free agent punter Jack Fox to compete with Colquitt. Ultimately, Colquitt beat Fox out and retained his job for the Chiefs’ championship season. Newsome is known best for his impressive show of strength at his pro day, posting 30 bench press repetitions of 225. To put things into perspective, that’s more repetitions than Chris Jones, Frank Clark, Mike Pennel, Derrick Nnadi, Alex Okafor, Khalen Saunders, and Tanoh Kpassagnon posted at their respective combine or pro days. Only practice squad defensive lineman Devaroe Lawrence had more bench press repetitions than Newsome at 31. The 6-3 and 219-pound punter has a career average of 44 yards per punt. He accumulated a total of 9,909 punting yards in his four-year career with Notre Dame. A total of 75 of his 225 career punts with Notre Dame landed within the 20-yard line. Newsome spent some time in the 2019 offseason with the Los Angeles Chargers but was released during 53-man roster cuts. Now, he’ll enter an offseason competition with one of the most veteran punters in the NFL.
  11. I thought this too but if he did sign somewhere else next year we could get that 3rd round pick back as a comp pick.
  12. Source: Chiefs, RB DeAndre Washington reach 1-year deal Facebook Twitter Facebook Messenger Email 5:21 PM CT ESPN The Kansas City Chiefs have reached a one-year deal with free-agent running back DeAndre Washington, a source confirmed to ESPN on Wednesday. Washington, a fifth-round draft pick in 2016 by the Raiders, also was a college teammate of Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes at Texas Tech. "Glad to be back with my dawg," Mahomes said on Twitter. "Welcome to #ChiefsKingdom" Yahoo Sports was the first to report Washington's agreement with the Chiefs. Chiefs starting running back Damien Williams returns, but the team doesn't have much depth behind him. Other backs under contract are Darrel Williams, whose season ended in December because of a torn hamstring, and Darwin Thompson. Both played sparingly. The Chiefs' second leading rusher from last season, LeSean McCoy, is an unrestricted free agent. Spencer Ware, who signed with the Chiefs last December after Williams' injury, is also a free agent. The Raiders chose to re-sign running back Jalen Richard over Washington because of Richard's pass-catching ability. Washington acquitted himself well in rookie sensation Josh Jacobs' absence down the stretch with the Raiders last season. With Jacobs missing three of the Raiders' last four games with a fractured shoulder, Washington assumed the role of bellcow back and had a combined 334 yards of offense and two touchdowns in those three games (rushing for 215 yards and those two scores on 54 carries and catching 16 passes for 119 yards). He was especially impressive as a ball carrier in a Week 16 victory at the Los Angeles Chargers, carrying the ball 23 times for 85 yards (the second-highest single-game total of his career). Washington, who turned 27 in February, is coming off a season in which he played in 16 games for the first time in his career, with career highs in starts (3), carries (108) and receptions (36). At just 5-foot-8, 210 pounds, Washington is a tenacious runner. He has rushed for 1,122 yards on 282 carries (4.0 ypc) in his career with seven touchdowns and has caught 88 passes for 613 yards and a score. ESPN's Adam Teicher and Paul Gutierrez contributed to this report

  14. Lol kamara is a one year rental. I would think getting 2 players and 3rd round pick would be nice for them.
  15. Holy shit. I did not know you were a writer Balto! https://www.12up.com/posts/chiefs-saints-trade-alvin-kamara-has-real-potential-01e593a1mmsd/partners/40734
  16. 3 current or former chiefs made it. 2 in defense in Berry and HB and ine on offense.....Kelce.
  17. Hell Eason and O'Brien would have been better than Blackledge
  18. https://arrowheadaddict.com/2020/04/05/matt-breida-ideal-addition-kansas-city-chiefs-backfield/amp/?__twitter_impression=true Just posting it because of the Breida to KC thought of it all. Would you rather take him as a FA or draft one?
  19. Per cap site there is no hit in 2021 and he is an UFA https://www.spotrac.com/nfl/kansas-city-chiefs/sammy-watkins-14413/#
  20. Go after IOL and cut Reiter for the cap space. Then draft LB, CB and a TE/ RB in the draft.
