  1. PM cant do it all himself. After playing 3 solid games as a pass blocker at LT, allowing just 2 total pressures, all went wrong on Sunday for #Chiefs LT Cam Erving. • 2 sacks • 2 hits • 4 hurries • Career high 8 pressures • 19.1 pass blocking grade. https://t.co/MwJHzSB3OP #ChiefsKingdom
  2. The G position is one i hope we address in FA. Need a solid guy to go right away. Center i can see us trying draft. Next years list of G for FA is not to bad. https://www.spotrac.com/nfl/free-agents/guard/
  3. Jets and Colts wers the other teams interested.
  4. Maybe. Depends in who they bring in etc. Not guaranteed a 3rd round pick.
  5. We will see if Clowney stays or not. He is a FA after this year. Imagine giving up a 3rd for a 1 year rental
  6. Interesting stats from the game https://www.chiefs.com/news/upon-further-review-six-quick-facts-following-sunday-s-loss-to-indianapolis As a group, Kansas City yielded just one touchdown in five trips to the red zone for the Colts, who were scoring on 71.4 percent of their red zone drives coming in to the game. The Chiefs also held Indianapolis – which was converting 49 percent of third down opportunities prior to Sunday - to just 5-of-14 on third down.
  7. Yes for Hill. PM did show that he makes udfa and 6th round picks look good when he actually has time. Pringle did very well last night. Watkins I think we do fine without him. Him and his injuries do that for us. Now if Hill was close to coming back, I can see him coming next game. I hope though they dont rush him because of broke dick Watkins being out and he gets reinjured.
  8. HE did give him the all good hug afterwards though.... lol
  9. Pressure? For having a GM make the decisions that at the times many of us agreed on? Or is it for having a 4-1 team that we all knew we were not going undefeated. I mean our goal is to get to the playoffs and go from there. If during that time we get better on Defense and are 100% healthy I feel we will be a very good team. Imagine what our lineup looks like with our starting LT, 2 WRs and our LG not out of the game. I bet these teams play us much differently. The fact we are seeing what teams are doing to win against us, going for 2 pt conversions, 4th downs etc it will only help us if we see it again in the future. Reid and company needs to adjust. No idea what Spags is seeing but something on that side needs to be done. The run chart last night was predominantly up the middle, where right now our 2 DT are injured. The LB group needs help too but if the DT are not helping them out, they are sitting ducks. I dont think pressure will be felt this week at all.
  10. Niemann did not even start and had 10 tackles in the game. He was at least in the area and made plays. I would not put it to bed as he can also defend the pass.
  11. Screens and quick hits nullify the pass rush a lot. The more of these you get the better in making them adjust. They also need to hit the quick slant over the middle The rush they were doing by bringing a guy from the middle...we could have made them pay for it by a slant. Reid just wants the 15 yard or better throw though and our line cant protect Mahomes for it. Eirher he adjust his calls or PM is going to continue to take a beating.
  12. Thoughts? I mean Ramsey costing us 2 first round picks and a 4th but we essentially get a high 2nd round pick back too. What I liked is the thought of going after O line help. Need something in the middle for sure even when we get Fisher back. https://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/27785915/barnwell-10-nfl-trade-candidates-proposing-deals-make-sense Jalen Ramsey, CB, Jacksonville Jaguars Let's start with the market's most eligible player. The Jaguars have so far resisted trade talks for their star cornerback, but since he requested a trade after Week 3, he has yet to suit up for the team. The two-time Pro Bowler initially missed practice with an illness and then to witness the birth of his child, but he has officially missed games against the Broncos and Panthers with a back injury. The team has supported Ramsey over the past two weeks, but this is also an organization run by Tom Coughlin. Before the events of the past few weeks, Ramsey famously showed up to training camp in an armored truck with a hype man insisting the Florida State product was about to get a new deal. Personally, I found it wildly entertaining. I'm not sure Coughlin felt the same way. The Jaguars hold most of the cards here, at least for now. Ramsey is still in the fourth year of his rookie deal. Jacksonville has already picked up his fifth-year option for 2020 and would be able to franchise him afterward. He is realistically years away from unrestricted free agency if the Jaguars don't want him to leave. The scenario that comes to mind for me, though, is Jadeveon Clowney. The Texans weren't able to come to terms with Clowney on an extension as their franchise player, and by the time they eventually gave up on re-signing him, they had no leverage and were forced to eat half of his contract just to get a third-round pick and a pair of backup linebackers from Seattle. The Jaguars are some ways from that point, but as they get closer to the end of Ramsey's deal, his trade value is going to decline. (Ramsey, coincidentally, spent his Sunday in Houston with Texans quarterback Deshaun Watson.) Jalen Ramsey has missed the last two Jaguars games with a back injury. Dustin Bradford/Getty Images If the Jags think Ramsey isn't going to re-sign with the team down the road, or if Coughlin has grown sick of him, they might find that Ramsey's trade value is at its highest right now and make a move. There are a handful of teams with designs on competing for a title that could justify making a significant move for a player like Ramsey. I'm not going to do this for every player, but I'll come up with three trades for Ramsey: The trade: Kansas City Chiefs send a 2020 first-round pick, 2021 first-round pick and a 2021 fourth-round pick to the Jaguars for Ramsey and a 2021 second-round pick If the Jaguars really do want two first-round picks for their star cornerback, they're probably going to need to send back something in return. The Dolphins were able to get two firsts and a second-round pick for Laremy Tunsil, but they also needed to send Kenny Stills as part of the trade and were dealing with a coach masquerading as a personnel executive. It would be tough to re-create that sort of package, even given how talented Ramsey is as a player. This is about as close as the Jags could get. The Chiefs are likely to be picking in the bottom of the first round, which reduces the value of these picks, and the Jaguars would be sending a second-rounder back, but this fits the criteria of getting two first-rounders in return for Ramsey. Kansas City is perennially in need of help at cornerback, and while it has mined the veteran free-agent charts for Bashaud Breelandand Mo Claiborne, Ramsey would be the last piece of the puzzle for a team that has a championship-caliber offense with Patrick Mahomes. Billy Price, C, Cincinnati Bengals I'll sneak one more offensive lineman in here. Price hasn't lived up to expectations since the Bengals took him with the 21st pick of the 2018 draft. Expected to step in as the starting center, Price struggled during his rookie season and then failed to win a competition for the job in August, losing out to Trey Hopkins. Price has seen action instead at left guard behind Michael Jordan, but he didn't play a single offensive snap against the Cardinals on Sunday and has played just 29.3% of Cincinnati's offensive snaps all season. The trade: Kansas City Chiefs trade a 2021 fifth-round pick to the Bengals for Price Get ESPN+ Stream live sports and original content on ESPN+. Sign up today If anyone is fond of taking on talented reclamation projects along the offensive line, it's the Chiefs and offensive line coach Andy Heck. Kansas City made a similar trade in 2017 for Cam Erving, a first-round pick at center who failed to impress in Cleveland across multiple offensive line spots. He has impressed enough with the Chiefs to earn a contract extension, though he's stretched in his current role as the team's left tackle in place of the injured Eric Fisher. The Chiefs lost starting guard Andrew Wylie during their loss to the Colts on Sunday night, and while it's unclear whether the injury is serious, any significant absence would tax an already-thin line. It would hardly be shocking to see the Chiefs pursue someone like Price to serve as a utility lineman on the interior while eventually hoping to groom the Ohio State product into a starter.
  13. If we would have kept Houston we would be worse in cap and we would be hearing from people here about how much of a waste he is. Then wonder why Veach did nothing to improve our defense yada yada yada. 20/20 vision. Clark is still young and we have yet to see how it all plays out with him let alone this defense.
  14. Mckenzie was cut after TC and signed by Seattle to the practice squad.
  15. LDT was signed by Dorsey. I am fine with Clark but need to see something out of him too here soon. Cam is a back up for a reason but his 4 million is not killing us. The draft was not great so far but still have time He has not sit idly by as he brought in Hitchens who we all thought was a good signing at the time. Brought in HB and Wilson too The trade of Smith brought in Fuller and a pick. All of us thought it was great at the time. He will need to show us this next draft and FA period something though. We all wanted Sutton gone and we even switched to a 43 then too. It looked like Veach was setting us up for the move too with his picks from before. Just tough ass luck on some of these signings to see nothing produce so far.
  16. Bring Allen back to play LG. Cant be worse than what we have now and saying bring him back takes alot for me to admit.
  17. At what time do we invest on o line too? Having 6th round and 2 udfa on the line plus the shit ass Irving cant help much. We need ti go after some o and d line for that matter. Or if not DL a couple actual LBs.
  18. 19 points yes, but to see them running at will and getting TOP is a killer. Cant win if you cant get your offense on the field. The offense did not do shit to give PM time let alone targets. He still threw for 300 plus yards but the penalties and the pressure from the shitty O line did us in. Also where the fuck did Kelce go tonight? Reid needs to learn to take the 5 to 10 yard throws too and call for them. That 4th and 1 was bs. Needed to just roll out with Mahomes and RPO at that point or a quick hit over the middle of the field. Anything but a run when our O line could not do shit.
  19. But where it counts they were fine. Our O line was horrible.
  20. Lol. Tough to win a game like this when all goes wrong. Add in injuries to LT, LG, starting WRs, both DTs and LB.....all starters too.
  21. 7 total drives each and they have 7 more minutes on TOP. We need to make something of this one
  22. Spread the defense out and hit them with runs and short field passes. I cant believe they got them for a hold finally. Maybe Reid can learn from this.
