No i understand this. Point is you cant just run the ball if they are still scoring. I do know that a screen pass or a quick toss etc even though a pass, they use it as a running play. We are doing much better on TOP and keeping the defense fresh plus Spags rotates them out a lot too. I love that fact the d line goes 100 mph all game. I am more or less talking about going into a softer type defense that allows yards and such. The goal is still not to allow them to score but they do.

Wow. Hands is a fan and so are we. He has taken his lumps, let it go. I mean i like we did great. I like we were able to finish it out after getting a huge lead. I did not like the fact we did not play the whole 60 minutes. Call it PTSD because i have seen us squander leads with Reid to often and make it seem better at the end of the game. Until we got the first down to run out the clock I was pissed off. Fluke plays or not, they still happened to us. If they had stopped us I was not feeling great with how we were playing in defense. Fluke plays like the fumble to Luck for a score or Marriotta passing a td to himself happen to us way too often for me. Reid does need to throttle a team imo. Done seeing this creeping up part of the scoring. This is just my honest opinion. We all saw Titans come back, Indy come back etc. I know new players, coaches etc but it still pisses me off to see a team come back on us. You think Reid would know better by now.

Hock was held to one catch last week. He had 4 targets? If they dont utilize him it is to our benefit.

Well we are 14th on ppg. I like that we are keeping teams from scoring. Also the fact we shut down teams but let them creep in late with scores. Need to stop that crap and we would be even better on all aspects. Penalties are down, tackling is better and the defense adjust well in game. Give it a couple more games and i think it will be even better. Some of these top teams for yards allowed, like the Pats, have not even played anyone. Miami and the Jets....please

He will but will it change him for the better? I dont think he will ever be an accurate guy as the first 2 games showed but he is dangerous. Hopefully they dont try and change him and make it worse. He is a runner more so than passer so far in his 10 games and it can work if played to his strengths. By the way that was just Mahomes 20th game played.

Well that is where I do not agree. We lost both Ford and Houston. We needed a player that could play in the 43 and one that could be a leader etc. He was not going to hit FA because someone would have traded for him or they would have kept him for the year and played it out. We needed him and at his age etc it made sense. Defense was and still is our weak point. Getting holes fixed and set now will only help us identify other needs and go from there. All this and we still have 29 mil in cap space this year and able to make 30.5 million next year if we need to do so. Veach is doing a great job managing contracts and the cap space for future extensions and signings of other FA as needed. Sure we give up some picks, but we are doing so in order to get a known commodity rather than gamble and wait on a draft pick.

We still have yet to see our 2nd round pick in this deal. Just need SF to start losing for a better pick. Clark is not getting the flashy stat of sacks but it will come. He has 7 tackles, 1 sack and 1 int. Ford has 3 tackles, 1 sack and 1 FF. Can you imagine what people would be saying here after overpaying Ford and seeing just those stats so far? Clark will be fine and for him to set the edge, get pressure and do it from anywhere on the line is a good thing. The stats will come. It also helps us get better matches with other players on the line with, him being versatile to line up any where.

We gained a 2nd and Clark for 3 million more per year. Remember Ford did get us 2 second round picks and he is costing 17 million per year. I think Clark is worth it over Ford. I just dont see Ford doing well in a 43 and against the run. Clark also can move to either side. Ford was only ever good on one side of the line

We have needed a true LG for years.

3 games into the season and we either have a 2 or 3 game lead on our division foes.

Ramsey would have made the plays on those wounded ducks.

We were out our best WR, LT and our first RB. I think we did just fine with what was left. Mahomes just continues to make plays.
