I thought we were talking of Hill and him and other NFL players being able to shut off from the physical play of the NFL. Even abused kids can learn from their past and not do it too. We have plenty of cap next year and can make more cuts too. We also have a good amount in 2021. By then all the core players should be locked up and we should be looking at offensive line contracts for the most part.

This way you have abxhance to zmtsg the other not signed. Then work the cap the next year to extend our guys and set it up for the Mahomes extension to come. With the cap we will have next year we can pay plenty up front to front end load them.

Hunt was last year and cut right away so it is not like he got a 2nd chance. Hill has not been even charged. Guy in his prime and we got him. A need for our defense and he fits it perfectly. What is not to like? Get Jones extended this year and we hit a homerun. Get hill and fuller next year plus supplement with draft picks and FA and we will be good for a long time on both sides. I mean even if we had a 16th ranked defense last year it would have been SB bound and we are doing what we need to do with cap space created by Veach and what we have in years to come. This is a great day imo as it sets us up nicely and we wont be hit with big name FAs all in one year. Plus we have added depth now at DE. Draft the CB/S needed and the rest? I am fine with this. Get a proven player instead of hoping no draft bust. Use cap space we still have this year and next. Need to resign our own now and oh, our defense will be much improved.
