I am worried he will add weight and still not be physical enough. Thing is you can't teach speed, twitchy movements etc. Will he bust and be a Toney? He drops easy passes it says, but his route running is great and he tracks the ball well. Would be great to see him work out with Mahomes and get his opinion.
Sneed is gone. He will get us more picks and we can use the cap in FA. The wait and see how the contract is done will determine just what we have left. There is also the ability to create more cap too.

POSITIVES
— Great speed. Should be the primary deep threat in any offense.
— Great short-area explosiveness. Twitchy and controlled.
— Good route-running tools. Quick feet and loose hips to transition in and out of breaks well.
— Above-average ball-tracking skills down the field. Shows ability to track over his shoulder and maintain top speed.
NEGATIVES
— Terribly skinny frame. Struggles versus press and often goes down on first contact.
— Too many careless drops in the open field.
— Poor ability to win the ball in the air. Cannot fight through contact or reach for the ball effectively.
I bet we don't resign any more of ours but 1 of them. Allegretti can be replaced by Morris if we get an OT or an OT to be that guy this year from the draft. Danna or Wharton will be 1 and a FA WR would be nice or even a 1 year OT and go after a WR in the draft.
Yeah I figured that too. Now to see how it works out leaving us cap space this year to sign a WR or OT. Hell maybe Veech goes and gets Wilkins too lol. Still a guy like Fant at TE and Brown at WR, those two wold inproce us a little for offense. Maybe we still have enough for Ridley and drafted WR? OT then or do they believe in Morris? 95 million is guaranteed in the first 3 years. I cant wait to see the breakdown and what years are voidable.
One FA I would take a look at is Noah Fant at TE. Athletic as hell and I think having a better QB would do wonders for him.
Continuing to make steady improvements as a blocker with north of 300 inline tight end snaps, Fant finished with a career-best 59.6 run blocking grade. While primarily running routes on passing plays, he also ranked a respectable 26th out of 91 qualified tight ends in pass blocking grade while allowing only four pressures and a sack on 36 pass protection reps.
Guy had 3 WR in front of him and was severely underutilized in Seattle. His QBs in Denver were laughable
Oh I know trades are rare in the division. I understand all you say but you know Veech inquired or should have done so as the GM. Hell we just had a trade this year with the Raiders, so it csn and does happen, just not very often.
Could be but if they had an agreement I would think they would have restructured mahomes contract asap. This was in a trade for Sneed teams known we can still afford him and give us a little more leverage.
Well yeah, that is a great trade for us with Detroit. We do have the ability to absorb the loss for this amount. Jones goes we will need Wilkins imo. Paying lower would save us even more cap space, have more cap with trade of Sneed and then hit FA hard with more draft picks to come.
