  1. 42 to 17. Mahomes with mvp throwing 5 td's and throwimg between 385 to 420 yards for it. Our 2nd half we shut them down to 3, while we get 3 int's and rattle Purdy.
  2. Pressure him in the pocket whole taking away his throwing lanes. If we can get there with a 4 man rush or when we blitz are able to hit him, we will win.
  3. Really we need just LT. Taylor if he stays at RT has done a good job. Is he worth the pay? We will see, but after getting slammed foe the season at the beginning he has done a good job and protects the QB. I rather keep Creed at center if it comes down to it between him and Smith. We can't keep them all as much as we would like too, I just think having to replace a RG in another year gives us time to do so now. We have options as I said above.
  4. Keep Sneed. Tag and trade Jones. Keep Gay or Tranquil. Extend Creed and/or Bolton in season. I would let Smith go if he asks way to much next year because hopefully we can draft another RG to do it or keep Allegretti long term. Go after WR/DT in FA and draft then accordingly. Go after LT in FA as I doubt we get one in FA. With LT we still have the option of trying Taylor to the LT, Thuney even too and insert then Allegretti at LG. If Taylor was to go LT then we draft the RT and keep depth at the position with a swing tackle. We need to look at TE draft and development as we have next year with Kelce and we would be lucky then one more after that. This is what we need to do to improve on offense and then reload at DT. If we keep one or two of the LBs this year, we should be good there and keeping Sneed keeps us good at CB. Safety we are set at imo. WR is a must as is one tackle. Get a WR in FA and draft another so we go in with FA WR, Rice, draft and then mixture of James if he stays, Toney if he is not cut and Moore all as depth. Cut MVS to use that cap for a FA pickup. After that we can look at drafting and developing for future needs like TE. Using the cap we save from Jones will help in extending the C and possibly RG position.
  5. Less time trying to rap too. Cant understand a word he says even if he is just talking.
  6. I think one gets an in season extension done. Can allegretti play RT? If anything move him to RG. Either Taylor works at LT and we go with Morris at LT or Morris stays at LT. If we can get an upgrade in FA or draft then LT would be it. Hell even Thuney can go LT and Allegretti to LG. We have options
  7. Could very well happen. I don't know though if we can keep Allegretti this year. Him proving he can start, do it well and is versatile to back up many positions will be what a team pays good money for this year. He will be 27/28 and if he gets a multi year deal, I think he will be gone.
  8. Keeping Gay, Drupal amd Sneed would be huge. Extend Humphries in the offer season/ season and go into next year with a couple of needs only after the season is done. I think Smith is gone if he asks for to much so I expect a draft pick this year to develop.
  9. I was laughing at people saying we would miss the playoffs. Or we might make it and lose the first game etc. I still thought we would be a force but posting was more of trying to calm down the bridge jumpers.
  10. Do what we did to the Ravens. Lamar and the team couldn't run that much and he was harassed so frequently.
  11. Thank god too because we scored nothing in the 2nd against Ravens
  12. Well they have 21 free agents with bigger names than him coming up. Also just 11.7 mil in cap space. https://www.spotrac.com/nfl/free-agents/baltimore-ravens/
  13. I think we keep Tranquil and roll with Chenal too. Gay or Tranquil was going to be who did things better for us and Gay just seemed to be injured at the most inopportune times.
  14. This guy impressed me yesterday. Might be worth the look at DT and come cheaper? Ravens DT Justin Madubuike.
  15. As SUPER BOWL LVIII looms, Patrick Mahomes can break or tie several postseason marks. He needs: 1 postseason win to pass Peyton Manning for 3rd all time (15). 2 TD passes to pass Peyton Manning for 5th all time (41). 163 yards to pass John Elway for 8th all time (4,965). 4 rushing yards to pass Elway for 6th all time (462). Greatness awaits.

Jump to a matchup: KC-BAL | DET-SF (3) Chiefs at (1) Ravens 3 p.m. ET | CBS | Spread: BAL -3.5 (44.5) What to watch for: This game marks the first playoff meeting between Mahomes and Jackson. In the regular season, Mahomes is 3-1 against Jackson, which is the most wins of any starting quarterback against Jackson (regular season and playoffs). In their most recent meeting in 2021, Jackson beat Mahomes and the Chiefs by rushing for 107 yards and scoring three touchdowns, including flipping into the end zone for the winning score. -- Jamison Hensley EDITOR'S PICKS We mapped out wins for the Ravens, Chiefs, 49ers and Lions: How each team can go to the Super Bowl 27mMatt Bowen Offseason guide for every eliminated NFL team: Key free agents, draft outlook, priorities and predictions 5dESPN staff NFL playoff bracket and schedule: TV times, dates and locations 2hESPN Staff Bold prediction: The Ravens and Chiefs will combine for at least 45 points. These were the top two teams in the regular season in scoring defense, with Baltimore leading the way at 16.5 points allowed per game and Kansas City right behind at 17.3. But Jackson and Mahomes will be too good to stop, and each team will top 20 points. -- Adam Teicher Stat to know: Steve Spagnuolo has been the Chiefs' defensive coordinator since 2019. In that time no team has allowed more rushing touchdowns to quarterbacks (26) in the regular season than the Chiefs. Matchup X factor: Mahomes' scrambling ability. The Chiefs have had a rough time in the passing game all season long, and it's only going to get tougher against Baltimore, which allowed the second-lowest open score to opposing receivers (ESPN's receiver tracking metrics) and recorded the most sacks in the league (60). Mahomes is a very effective scrambler and will have to generate production with his legs on Sunday. -- Walder Game-plan key: Kansas City's defense loves to use man coverage in the red zone, especially inside its own 10-yard line. Baltimore offensive coordinator Todd Monken should have some answers there, with Jackson's receivers running crossers and delaying their releases. The Ravens were eighth in red zone efficiency, scoring a TD on 61.8% of their trips inside the 20. Read more at ESPN+. -- Bowen Injuries: Chiefs | Ravens Officiating note: Referee Shawn Smith's regular-season crew threw the third-most flags in the NFL this season, an average of 14.8 per game. Smith has also made an above-average number of roughness calls. He threw the third-most flags for roughing the passer (eight), and overall his crew ranked No. 1 with 25 unnecessary roughness calls. -- Seifert Betting nugget: Mahomes is 3-1 outright and 2-2 against the spread against Jackson. Three of the four meetings went over the total, with each matchup combining for at least 51 points. The average for the previous four over/unders was 52.4 with none lower than 49. Moody's pick: Ravens 25, Chiefs, 21 Walder's pick: Ravens 26, Chiefs 20 FPI prediction: BAL, 63.6% (by an average of 4.6 points)
