  1. I think the Jets was his bad game. The dropped passes by our receivers against the Lions was not on him and neither was the pick 6.
  2. Yes. If we even split with the Chargers and get a 3 game lead with 10 games to play, that will be very difficult for them to over take us. I doubt we lose to Raiders and Broncos. Splitting with chargers would put us 5-1 in the division. If we hold, we would then have Broncos, 2 against Raiders, one against chargers in that 10 game spread. I think we can go 3-3 at worse and still win the division in those other 5 games. We play Miami, Eagles, Bills, Cincy, NE and GB.
  3. Well for now, yes. Thing is I doubt he is there for us to get. If we went just by the higher ranked guys we would have gone after Eifert, Ertz, McDonald or Escobar and not after Kelce. Those were the guys who went before Kelce and had more of the upside etc. Hell I wanted LaPorta but never thought before the combine he would go in the 1st round. I wanted kittle too when he kept sliding to the 5th. I even wish we could have traded for Hockensen with what he went for to the Lions. Noah Fant is not being utilized correctly imo, in Seattle. Yes I am an Iowa guy but they keep putting out damn good TEs. The offense they run has them more NFL ready too.
  4. Phil Steele had him 2nd all big ten. Most had Erik All as the better TE but after seeing them together, Lachey was the guy getting it done before injury. Lachey would do well to go back for his senior season to improve his stock after this injury, but down the line he will be a better TE than All. He was on the Mackey list also. 6'6" and 255 pounds is a good sized TE that runs like Kelce.if he declares and is there late 3rd to 5th round he will be the George Kittle type of TE everyone wonders why he went so late
  5. Lachey out of Iowa. He is a junior but had an injury. He will be at the combine, or close to be good to go by then. This guy because of injury will fall to later rounds if he declares. He is the next LaPorta type to come out but the injury will push him down the boards.
  6. He is better than Wiley, so Mahomes knows how to deal with it.
  7. Stupid imo. He was told they would suck last year without Hill. He had Moore as a rookie, who everyone thought year 2 would be better because of the system Reid runs. Still to early to judge him yet it is not looking great. Toney was the question mark. In fact, they had enough worries to draft Rice. They went out further to invest in a FA who got hurt and was our returner. They had MVS, who we all would have went nuts if he cut him before year 2 here. So many ways to judge a guy with hindsight but the fact is he goes out and hits what we need. We needed an O line, he went out and did a rebuild in one off season. Need CBs? He invested late rounds and such in trades for them. FA he got guys like Tranquil and drafted Bolton, gay, chenel etc. He has built a team that was all offense into a defense that now holds their own while Veach and company fix the WR problem. The only thing we could have done was get that true vet type WR. Hell the team carried 7 WRs on their roster. It is not like he and others did not try to set it up to succeed.
  8. A ton are drafted late first through 3rd round. Before Hudson, wisniewski was picked. Before Morse I think 1 or 2, would have to look it up. Before Creed there were a 2 others picked. So we may pick a center in the late 2nd it seems, but we have done very well as most of the times they are not the first ones off the board.
  9. I am a fan of any team against our division rivals unless said team is in a race against us for best conference record and our division rivals suck. I would root for Raiders against the Bills late in a season if we already own the division and bills are tied with us for number 1 seed. That makes me sick thinking about it but that is the only way I could hope for a division rivals win.
  10. Looking at this list and seeing Morse, knowing we drafted Hudson too and having Creed now.... we do a damn good job on drafting centers.
  11. Man did the refs help the Bills win that game.... waiting to see everyone on the internet explode on the no call like they do with the Chiefs every week.
  12. Rice, with more time, should be really coming on. Can't wait to see in the later half how he looks. We still could use someone though as we are getting nothing from MVS, Toney or Moore. One of those 3 need to step it up. MVS is gone after this year. Toney will play out his rookie contract and if still showing nothing, will be gone. Moore is the one I hope steps it up. Good thing the 2024 draft is deep on WR.
  13. Clark is what he is if he comes. He will help out and as we have seen, having a depth of rushers is never bad. A guy that can teach the young guys. Get reps in pass rushing situations or rotate in and keep everyone fresh, plus he turns it up in playoffs. If this was what he was paid before when he was here, you all would cheer what a deal he was. Being here the next 14 games, if we get to SB, is not a bad idea. I also think he pumps up the other guys like CJ who has been wanting him. Put Omenihu on the inside with CJ. Karlaftis on the one side and the dana/Clark rotate in on the other while FAU comes in as he gets it going later on. not a bad pass rushing line there for passing downs. Now with it said, if we have money to get a WR or even TE first, then I would go for that. Still Clark is nothing but a prorated vet minimum at this point.
  14. I really think we could do wonders with Pitts if Atlanta ever gives up on him.
  15. Suppose to say the one guy....but fat fingered it with giy and the b instead of space. Surprised you could even give a somewhat intelligent response. It is Iowan by the way.
  16. Hopkins would have a lot more in this team than with Texans. Still he went for the money instead of a chance. I too hope Ross can make something of this. MVS is done after this year. We can use that moneybfor a better upgrade if need be in FA or use towards resigning our own. He has a 14 mil cap hit with 2 mil dead space next year. His ass is gone. 7 receptions and 116 yards in 6 games? What a waste.
  17. Dislocated his elbow...ouch. the one guy that seemed to be able to stretch and catch the long balls.
  18. He should be working on getting the WR more involved and where each one excels.
  19. Still learning, be like Karlaftis and even Jones back in the day. He will come on towards the end of the season most likely in this defense. Dana is looking damn fine and we get Omenihu back for the next 9 days leading up to the Chargers. Giving FAU time to sit back and learn. I live this depth we have finally on the line, even Nnadi seems to be showing up lately
  20. Lol still top 10, sometimes top 5 in areas. It is not ass but it is not quite right the way it usually is. More time for the receivers to get going but Rice looks like he is getting there.
  21. What a weird fucking game where we dominated and yet still fucked up.
