  1. Point made above https://arrowheadaddict.com/posts/what-kc-chiefs-learned-travis-kelce-absence
  2. Well I think they sign Creed and Bolton. Then either Tranquil or Gay. If Smithbis not for a good deal, he is gone but we have been stacking up on G lately for depth which may be a sign. Jones will be tagged and traded. Need to replace DT big time either draft or FA. Tranquil can also take over for Bolton if need be as I think Creed as the center and o line guru will come first and a must needed extension. Thing is the cap goes up and we are still going to lose a couple key players but need to keep the o line intact for our franchise qb as much as we can. We also need to see how the young WR do this year, may have to get the WR1 on too. Can't see us getting a Kelce replacement any time soon and it may be easier to find the WR1 in FA.
  3. Guards are good up to 34ish I would say. Getting a new deal that is fair would help him and even us down the road. He would get the guarantee money and stability while we don't have to worry about G for another 3 years. It is just a thought on how we could create even more money is all.
  4. So he lost almost 4 mil in fines to be paid the same 19.5 but has a chance to make up 5 mil in incentives? Man is he and his agents dumb. He was offered 27.5 mil and great guarantees before game 1...... what a shot show. Veach is a mastermind.
  5. Extend him and rework it. Get cap space to sign Creed, Bolton and Trey while we tag/trade Jones if he won't play ball. Use picks andFA for a DT and other needs.

Jones did not receive a clause preventing a franchise tag so he could be subject to receive that tender from the Chiefs next offseason, a source told ESPN's Jeremy Fowler. ADVERTISEMENT Jones received incentives in the new contract that would allow him to earn more than the $19.5 million he was scheduled to make this season under his old contract, sources told ESPN. "Chris is an elite player in this league and over the last seven years, he's really developed into a leader on our team," Chiefs general manager Brett Veach said in a statement. "He's been instrumental to our success and Super Bowl championship runs and it was a priority for us to keep him in a Chiefs uniform. I'd like to thank Chris and his representation, Michael and Jason Katz, for their desire and patience to get this done. Through this process two things were obvious, Chris wanted to be a Chief and the Katz brothers worked diligently on his behalf." Jones should be available to play for the first time Sunday when the Chiefs visit the Jacksonville Jaguars. Last week, during a charity event in Kansas City, Jones said he was keeping in shape and would be ready to play the day after he signed a new contract. "I could play right now,'' Jones said then. "I work out every day, twice a day, but in Miami with my team that I'd normally be with in my offseason. I'm staying at it.'' Jones did not play in the Chiefs' season opener last week against the Detroit Lions -- a 21-20 loss -- forfeiting his game check of about $1.1 million. Jones did not report to training camp as he was seeking an upgraded deal. He was entering the final season of a four-year, $80 million contract he signed with the Chiefs in 2020. He would have been the ninth-highest-paid defensive tackle in the league by average salary under the contract. https://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/38380797/chiefs-dt-chris-jones-agree-new-1-year-contract

  8. I hope if anything, we can tag and trade for much better than a possible 3rd round pick.
  9. How is this a bad take Palangi? Many said on X he was going to be traded too.
  10. Just the way you worded it. Could have said my relation is hearing he is to be traded. Will see if he is right. Not say it will be very soon within days etc. And to book it.....
  11. To late lol, to many to quote. We even warned him it would come back to bite him in the ass if not true. Believe him or not.....
  12. Sure seems like you said he would be traded and now since your source was wrong it was his fault?
  13. I would tag him off season again too for a trade. Honestly I think it is one year while they maybe work to extend him for a couple more. This just gets him on the field either way.
  14. Burrow 82 yards passing in 31 attempts.....hahahahaha. The line did not do shit and now all those fuck fans can stfu.
  15. Anyone watching burrow and his protection? 36 yards passing in the first half. He even was pissed at obj for a hit. Garrett beat him on the outside. Plenty of pressures still amd a sack.
