  2. That was my whole point. He deserves to be 2nd place for salary in the DT position only.
  3. Bosa, Watt etc are all different positions than Jones. For the DT position that pay would only he behind Donald. He won't get DE money etc.
  4. Well 85.5 is not bad honestly at AAV of 28 per. Their offer of 24.7 per is not 2nd highest AAV. Give him 26 to 27 per year with good guarantees and we are set for 3 more years.
  5. We can use his first paycheck because he was out on pup list. They can extend that 2 weeks to get him into game shape if they choose too. You could technically use all of it, but would have to have it count once he reports, which they won't do because it would put them well over the cap if they used it and he reported.
  6. I have a friend I went to school with and is a hof qb. He hasn't told me jack shit and he works for the nfl network.

"We're certainly hopeful of that," Veach said. "We're looking forward to next Thursday and hopefully he's in the lineup and he's ready to get a new deal. "We're going to continue to press on," Veach said. "We're just going to keep working on this thing." Veach also said wide receiver Kadarius Toney and cornerback L'Jarius Sneed would not be placed on the injured reserve list, moves that would keep them out for at least the first four games. He indicated both could play against the Lions. "They have a good chance to be where they need to be Week 1," Veach said. Toney had surgery after tearing his meniscus as the Chiefs were starting their opening practice of training camp. Sneed, the only Chiefs cornerback with more than one year of NFL experience, hasn't practiced since early in camp because of soreness in his knee.
  8. If you are talking the site I gave, you have tried double click the play button. You then can expand it full screen. Also it does open another tab, usually, and all you do is X out of that.
  9. Vets that could be initially cut, but brought back immediately due to not being subject to waivers: - TE Blake Bell - DT Danny Shelton - S Deon Bush So both Shelton and Bush can be brought back still.
  10. Be good next to Jones if he is better than Nnadi.
  11. Can cut and then put him along with Shelton on the ps and resign if we don't want them to hit waivers. I believe we can do that with both I read somewhere here was it?
  12. swapping conditional 7th rounders, i believe means that we swap if they have the higher pick in the 7th. Also might be connected to the fact of some thing that he has to be with the team X amount of time whether ps or active.

  15. WR is not a need at this time. Kemp would be a cut for us this year easily.
  16. While I thought the same thing, my point was more towards how they feel about the other WRs and to be able to get cap relief. He makes the most sense for cap if they feel they have good things in Sky, Rice and the return if Toney etc. We also have a good glut of CBs, just feel WR is deeper for us at this time.
  17. Nice fake account. See schetfer as the name instead of schefter. It had gotten me a couple times.
  18. Think there will be a trade of a WR and we keep Ihmir Smith Marsette then. Candidate that may make sense? MVS who would get us a good deal plus cap relief for us too. I think a WR is traded for sure even if it is Smith Marsette. Just thinking outside the box where this would also give us cap relief too.
  19. Last DT traded was Buckner from SF to Colts. He was coming off a very good 2019 season, 26 years old and they got a 1st round pick which was 13th overall. I doubt we get two 1st round picks but if we do, Veech is a God them for sure.
