  1. Another thing to consider, other than he was hurt, is the fact Brady was not mobule back there. Mahomrles will bide him plenty of time and throws quickly if needed. He made Brown better, i think he will do the same for this guy too.
  2. Those likely to be obtained i believe are this year.
  3. LT: Donovan Smith LG: Joe Thuney C : Creed Humphrey RG: Trey Smith RT: Jawaan Taylor Gives Taylor another year to ease into LT or for us find a new one. Keeping him at RT makes sense as that is where he plays best and is one of the best. If he is the LT then Smith would be a back up which would be one expensive back up.
  4. I wanted him to do well and even stuck up for him a lot 2 years ago. I said though he needed to be healthy and ge could never do that. Good riddance now.
  5. I read nothing about RB other than maybe Gibbs if he fell to 31. I am sure there were others that could have been picked too. Pacheco was a 7th rounder after all.
  6. BJT I think will surprise many if us. DT was only 235 pounds coming out as a comparison. If he puts weight in he will be a good 3 down DE. If not, use him on the outside and kick Omenihu inside. He can play like an OLB while we get the other DEs I George and FAU in too? A lot of ways to keep them fresh and in obvious passing situations. One thing we know, when a team gets behind us, they pass to catch up.
  7. Solid B. We addressed areas of need or concern. Created depth and competition all the while playing it out for long term Those we can't extend next year, we have players that will get a years experience and let us know who we need to sign for sure or draft again/FA next year.
  8. Or keep Smith at RG if Kinnard can be the LG. To bad we did not get a chance at vorhees today.
  9. Another cb, Nic Jones from Ball St. Very happy with this draft. We keep the ranks full. St help along with depth. Got the help where we needed it too.
  10. Wish we had taken vorhees myself and given him a year to heal up. Baltimore got a good one there.
  11. Think we should pick up DT also from cuts but man, Veach has hit depth and competition with every pick. Remembering too that Omenihu can kick inside also.
  12. DT Keondre Coburn FOLLOW 6'2" 332 lbs Texas 18 POS RK 244 OVR RK 42 GRADE play 0:32 Pre-Draft Analysis Coburn is a massive nose tackle with the strength and low center of gravity to occupy double-teams and clog up the middle. He locates the ball and gets off blocks in time to make plays between the tackles. Coburn's not going to make a lot of plays outside the tackle box, and he has limited upside as a pass-rusher. -- Steve Muench
  13. Add about 15 pounds on him and it will be nice. Lost Clark and Dunlap, get the FA pick up FA Omenihu and draft this guy along with Uzomah. I think they will get after it especially on passing downs.
  14. OLB BJ Thompson FOLLOW Stephen F. Austin Pre-Draft Analysis Thompson is a lean edge defender with outstanding initial quickness, length and closing speed. He has a high ceiling as a pass-rusher. He has the range and length to compete in underneath coverage. Thompson has the long arms to keep blockers off his frame, but he needs to get stronger and play with better pad level. -- Steve Muench
  15. Who knows but we have a guy in a 1 year deal and young depth after that at S. If a guy needs a year to learn this system and can contribute on ST as he does so, nothing wrong with that. Need to look at the long game here.
  16. Been hurt a lot lately though. Go trade a late pick for Hopkins to finish the day.
  17. Need a fatty next pick. Would like to see a DT if one is there and good value. https://www.espn.com/nfl/draft/bestavailable/_/position/dt
