  1. If they cut him it will be just like Hunt was. Chiefs cut him, officially gets a suspension, and a team picks him up super cheap. Maybe he stays smart, maybe he doesn't but either way that team can have him for next to nothing and Chiefs are looking to fill a hole rapidly and probably makes a mistake.
  2. On NFL.com they joked about how several people have mocked us a different WR at that pick. https://www.nfl.com/news/gennaro-filice-2024-nfl-mock-draft-2-0-jets-go-get-rome-odunze-pats-raiders-trade-back-into-round-1 Like normal top 3-4 are fairly set but from there it's all over the place.
  3. I would guess that the residents of St. Louis (twice), San Diego, Baltimore, Cleveland, LA (twice), Oakland, and Houston thought the exact same thing.
  4. I live in Topeka so I don't care where they move to as long as its still in the KC metro, if they go that route obviously.
  5. Overall its very simple. A "no" vote opens the door to every possibility...leaving Jackson County, leaving MO, or leaving the KC area altogether. A "yes" closes that door. Will there be another chance on another vote...maybe, nobody knows. One thing is for certain...there are many cities that would welcome either franchise with arms and wallets wide open.
  6. I have wondered if some of these ratings are from guys who went to big schools in the Power 5 that dump millions into locker rooms, training staff, weight rooms, etc in an effort to lure recruits and its just not "up to their standards"? We've all seen pictures/videos of what Oregon, Georgia, Alabama, etc and honestly most of what those schools have is probably better than most NFL teams.
  7. Didn't he just redo his contract earlier this year to become the highest paid over the next 4 years?
  8. I'm very torn on this situation. Part of me wants to rest the offense to avoid injury but part of me wants them to play and improve in game situations. It worked out with only getting FG's but that's not going to fly in the playoffs more than likely.
  9. I almost always bet on the other team to cover. Chiefs usually still win but they rarely blow out teams over the spread. I was always annoyed by it but I've accepted it, moved on, and bet accordingly.
  10. I have looked online and I have found that the parking lot opens 4.5 hours before a game but has this game held the same standard or is it earlier Thursday?
  11. I did as well back in December of 2022 and I got the exact same reaction.
  12. I don't think its a stalling game to beat the heat he could easily do the "my _____(hammy, knee, shoulder, etc etc) hurts, I can't practice" excuse and not lose 50k a practice. Either or he's not there and that's his choice.
  13. Chiefs are probably hoping that the Royals move to Clay County so then the Chiefs can just keep all of the 3/8 cent tax and not have to share it with the Royals.
  14. What is Jones biggest asset? His quickness off the ball so his speed is important. you act like Jones hasn't had some very average seasons in-between his paydays. Pretty amazing how when talk about contracts gets going on Jones he ends up with 15.5 sacks then he goes to under 10 the next 3 seasons. You rag on Houston but Jones isn't the complete opposite by any means. I know he will get an extension I just hope it doesn't handicap us later when we want to keep some of the younger talent around for a 2nd contract like Sneed, Creed, Smith, Bolton and/or Gay.
  15. If he would of played all season he was on pace for almost 1400 yards last year. The year before he was on pace for only 969. year before that he got 1400. I agree he's getting older and injuries can start piling up but his stats have been fairly consistent for his career
