    I think it will be a work in progress until about game 9 when the youngsters begin to gel. Probably be a wild card team, but once we are in we will be extremely dangerous on both sides.

    Wonder if he's confident enough to give back money every time he gets his ass handed to him? My take: if he's looking to set market then make him play on the franchise tag and prove it. He improved as the season progressed, but to get paid #1 you got to be #1. If he's OK with somewhere in top 10 pay then green light it.

    Bad move by KC. Repeat of last year letting the Steelers get him only to have to trade for him. DE depth is bad, not sure how not getting him signed makes us better.

    Mahomes - entirely new receiving core so it will take some time to gel which leads to a repeat of the sky is falling like we saw the first half of last year

    Was pleased with the draft. I thought they'd double dip at DE, but maybe they decided today's QBs get the ball out of their hands too quickly so better to focus on our thin secondary. Anxious to see how we look at the end of the season. Think it's a wild card/growth season where we click and become dangerous when it counts in the end.

    I'm curious to what the opinion is regarding grabbing another DE in the 2nd or picking up one of the mentioned DT above instead. Cupboards are pretty thin either way.

    Seems like a steep price to pay to move up. Also prefer moving up for Johnson and letting a CB fall to us.
