  1. Here is an even better re-mastered version with clearer lyrics. I especially like near the end with that perfectly inflected and perfectly pitched and gravelly soul falsetto. It just doesn't get better than this song.
  2. And I'm too dumb to have seen that. That's a problem with posts. Can't see facial expressions or hear them.
  3. Have you ever had a sprained big toe? And tried to move around on it? I'll tell you this: The big toe does 90% of the work your feet do. The other toes are almost an afterthought, except helping with balance when you are just standing around. A bad sprain of the big toe is a semi-major injury that could take a few weeks with good therapy and maybe longer to reach full recovery. A fractured big toe will put you in an orthopedic boot for 4-8 weeks. If you broke two toes that are not the big toe, they can just be taped together and use each other as a splint.
  4. Looks to me like Moore and Rice may very well develop into a solid #1 and #2 to go with Kelce, and they are VERY YOUNG. I don't think it was dumb at all. From a cap standpoint, there is no question at all.
  5. I know I 'm old, but when I was 16, this was one of the best songs I ever heard. Absolutely love it. This my advice to Kelce. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6EqFVWzOfN8
  6. If love that guy. He'll always be a Chief in my head. But yes, we won by losing him. I don't know of any other GM who could have pulled that off and survived to win a SB with all the picks he got. Kkuenn has it right. When he meets us, we should flash that two-finger victory sign to him.
  7. And with all those cheeseburgers, that could be a lot sooner than you think.
  8. Both of the above are true. We have to face it. The teams have a cap because a less competitive league will not interest the fans and will lose money comparatively.. My feeling is that, as long as we have Mahomes, we will be an offensive team. A middle of the road defense and a dominant offense must be our operating principle. The organization knows that. We will have to give up lots of excellent defensive players, some each year, in order to remain an offensive powerhouse. If we draft smarter than other teams and coach better than other teams, we will get more Lombardis.
  9. If I were Jalen Hurts, I'd be planning my hold out now.
  10. In the pic it looks like the ref is telling him "go to your room right now. This minute."
  11. That's really amusing about the game last year when Jenkins pulled the guys helmet off and then slapped him instead of hitting him. That's a true insult rather than an attack. I would rather get punched The funny thing about how stupid all this stuff is, is that every player knows than any of these guys could become teammates at any time. Maybe if that happens the guy could slap him back on his butt in the shower. Just "spank his ass."
  12. To get the effect needed, all he needs is the reputation for being fast, not actually being fast.
  13. The Jags were pretty much right about all of that. Kelce does get mouthy and confrontational, especially when he is not doing well. Very frustrated yesterday. He wears his feelings on his sleeve for sure. Then he kicked the ball into the stands on his TD. But his competitiveness is what makes him great. At least he didn't give the jerking off motion to a ref, so that's progress. LOL. The pointing at the scoreboard at the end was a riot. He sure loves to push people's buttons. Speaking of that, the following article about what Tyreek Hill said about NE fans was awesome. I love Tyreek.
  14. MVS is getting those reps because he is fast, and secondaries have to respect it and stay deep. That helps the short and intermediate game.
  15. The point is to protect the franchise, even if it costs a holding penalty each game. More than one? No. I'll take a holding penalty from him any day to keep Mahomes from getting hurt, though. The officials need to be instructed to be lax about that, especially since they are protecting QB's with a dozen different rules. Peterson was all over the officials all last week to keep an eye specifically on Taylor. That is just wrong. Pisses me off. Andy was right to pull him out for a few plays. He was probably getting a little hot-headed about it. Andy knows how to calm young guys down when he has to, without being a dick. Its one of the reasons his players love him.
  16. Its too early and they are too good to call them "bungles" again, but I would love to see that. They were really mouthy about beating us three times before the playoffs. At least their fans have been. I would hate to play them now before our O line gels.
  17. Especially in the red zone. The back end knew how to get receivers to not get their foot down in the back of the end zone. That saved us two touchdowns. Just good coverage.
