  1. I'll bet that interceptions are the inverse of that. Overall effectiveness in probably pretty much the same. Wins were pretty unchanged.
  2. I know for a fact that's exactly what he said, because that's where I live. It's this universe that confuses the fuck out of me.
  3. Yeah. That's what I thought you wrote. I understood apparently. Thanks for the info.
  4. So, from what you are saying, only the portion not already paid "up front" (as yearly installments) counts against this year's cap, since most of it was paid in previous installments. But we still have to count the remainder of that bonus not already paid against this year's cap? That makes sense and explains the term "dead money" since we have to count it but not really be able to put it to use in any way.
  5. Still counted on the cap, though, right? (I don't fully understand how the cap works regarding dead cap.)
  6. Usually, I edit better than that .Still...it is very intestinalizing at the very least.
  7. Those emojis did not come out the way they were designed LOL. STILL INTETESTING Maybe even more so.
  8. True. Can't trust anything like that at this time of year. I was disappointed. I'd like to see him back here.
  9. Back with the Seahawks. Signed last week. (Correction. The article may have been only a strong rumor published last week.) Sorry about that. I jumped the gun.
  10. Frank Clark has already signed with another team.
  11. Either that or your fingers just weren't porking right.
  12. You need to turnip your otto connect setting.
  13. I'd rather have that top rated QB than a bunch of great surrounding players or a top 5 defense. Just looking at the Chiefs, when were we best? Dawson, Montana, Mahomes. I would rather struggle to attract top free agents than to find it easy to do that but not have that real franchise QB. The teams with the best QBs always have the sustained success. I hope Clark Hunt and Co. never forget to do whatever is necessary to draft a great QB first and foremost when a previous one is lost to age/injury/personal choice, etc. Rarely can a franchise get there by building a defensive juggernaut. Ask Marty. Sometimes you miss on your QB, like Blackledge, but you have to just keep trying. Second on the list, I would say is finding a franchise head coach.
  14. I think it is more underperforming his athleticism level, not talent level. It is hard to see exactly with him. He misses time with some emotional difficulties, and other games he makes few mental mistakes. He gets only his share of injuries but not more. When he reads the play correctly and uses his athleticism, it is fantastic...has the WOW factor. It is more like occasional mental mistakes combined with short periods of apparent depression (I've read) that makes it hard for him to achieve what is possible for him.. Overall, that does knock down his market value some.
  15. I don't think it would have been cheap, even a year ago. All of football has known what we have on our hands, ever since his first season was halfway through.
  16. Yeah. The mark of a really great team. I'd love to keep him, but damn. And players have to balance their income with their desire to play with a great team. It has to be tough on them, unless they are still too young to care to care about the intangibles, like how it feels to play for a team that loses half its games.
  17. I would really hate to see him go. He would be cornerstone player on most teams.
  18. Do you think Jones' lawyers really give a shit about his buddies? Jones, of course, doesn't have to follow his lawyers' recommendations for whatever personal reasons, but they are hired as contract lawyers, not personal advisors or life coaches.
