  1. Also, another good safety to replace Thornhill, maybe. Maybe a FA. As far as edge, I think Karlaftis is going to develop really well, probably an order of magnitude very soon. I really wouldn't like to have one of those smaller 250 lb guys with great feet and technique. I think they just get beat up too quickly.
  2. Not bad! I think this stuff may need to be moved to the FTS thread. But that's a hole differen tissue.
  3. I would like to go back and look at film of Powell. In other words, do a Colonoscopy. See if he has any guts.
  4. They will get more space through another cut or two and by re-stucturing some contract. In all practicality, we should count on around 30 million.
  5. I could while away the hours with her. Maybe even do some consultation work with the flowers.
  6. Yes. That, also. I guess they manage to get wasted.
  7. If she offered me a taco, I'd eat it without complaint.
  8. It never does. Except my nose ring. A super bowl nose ring. Now THAT hurts.
  9. I agree. We have earned the right to expunge that old disappointment once and for all. **** please ban me ****. **** please ban me ****. **** please ban me ****. You are probably great guy. May you die a painful death and burn in hell, **** please ban me ****.
  10. I think they will draft the best available OT and let him play a lot to see if they can let Brown leave in 2024. Tag him in the meantime.
  11. I agree with this. I don't agree about Brown. It just takes too long to find someone that can be a good LT for an offensive team like the Chiefs. It is a primo position in importance and in the market. OBJ is great in the run game and is becoming adequate as a pass protector. And he's huge... Of course, if Oldtimer became available, I might change my mind. I agree completely that the horrible slipping turf in Arizona may have won the game for the Chiefs. Rushing the passer requires a fast initial burst, and the slipping turf pretty much neutralized the strongest aspect of the Eagles game. Its just like Buffalo and Cincy. Buffalo could not use their great defensive front in those wintry slick conditions. They were totally stymied by it. Paralyzed might not even be an exaggeration.
  12. That's really inflamed. He should have that lanced. That's what happens when you pick a dragon's nose. i read that in an actual book.
  13. It sure does make me wonder about what the Chiefs will do. Personally, I think the health of the players and the game of football is more important than the money made by holding different kinds of events\ in the same place or from hosting a super bowl. Cities have to make a decision on how to finance new stadiums based on revenue generated. Maybe the real answer is to build a separate and cheaper special events venue and just maintain the current fooball-only stadium. If Arrowhead needs to put in a rolling roof, so be it. But just say no to rolling turf. Why is is so important to be able to host a super bowl. in KC? People would rather go to a warmer place in February anyway. KC would get the hind tit, even if we built a huge domed stadium with all the electronics and turn the game of real football into a giant video game. People would still rather go to a warm city at that time of year. Plus, we have always taken pride in having the best groundskeepers in the business.
  14. Players were slipping to varying degrees on both sides all game. Same turf problem at that stadium that ruined most of Butker's season. The whole concept of rolling indoors and outdoors a natural turf field is a failure. They have to face it and change it to artificial turf. The base has to be deeper with roots to hold natural grass turf in place. But then it wouldn't be able to be rolled. Stupid idea to make more money by using the billion dollar stadium for more and different kinds of venues and events.
  15. That just means he gave the defensive iineman a consolation gift certificate to Waffle House as a token of his respect.
