  1. How was that? True, I cheat. Congratulations everyone!!!!
  2. I predict the Chiefs win by a field goal with 8 seconds left.
  3. It's going to be a carefully designed play thrown behind his back into the back of Orlando Brown, who will have turned exactly 30º to his left exactly at the angle where it will carom into the arms of Jerrick McKinnon sweeping around behind him 3 yards and to Brown's left. McKinnon will never cross the line of scrimmage but will turn to his right and toss it to Kelce, who will take it to the house. It will be called "BILLIARD" It will go for a toiuchdown with 7 seconds left in the game and produce a 4 point victory. Mahomes will be pre-awarded the MVP for the ensuing 3 years after it is discovered by the NFL that it was practiced exactly like that six times during the previous week. Later, Brown and McKinnon will be traded for 6 more draft picks and the Chiefs will re-name themselves the "Kansas City Fatbacks" and prohibit the tomahawk chop at games in deference to several Native tribes protesting in Connecticut. They have been practicing it all week.
  4. Whatever that thing is, it is devouring her head while she's alive. It looks like something from "The Last of Us." Or maybe "Mars Attacks." It's got two big eyes in front, and its lips are already pulling in her forehead.
  5. He'll cool before the market for him warms apparently.
  6. Just needing glasses, unless you do it too much.
  7. Obviously, I listened to that podcast from that nightclub in Phoenix, with all the crowd whooping it up and mingling and yelling. I would guess a few "beverages" were passed around, too. Neil Smith and Christian Okoye and other former players were revelling with everyone. With the yelling, it was probably a viral fog in there. I enjoyed it but also thought about how many would come down with colds a few days later. By game time, I would bet that 30% of both teams are going to be a bit under the weather. Unpredictable outcomes and poorer than expected performances should be expected. The great equalizer.
  8. Well, the players go to these Superbowl week clubs to meet up with old Chiefs stars and all the spouses, friends, and hangers-on and do two hour podcasts from these places as part of the hoopla. And this is done in February after flying on a plane. What do they expect? This is a "catching a cold" hurricane scenario. If a team is smart, these kinds of events should be kept to a minimum. I know the media and money want to whip the thing up as much as possible, but a team bent on actually winning the damned game would keep the players more isolated all week. You all know this is true. Coaches want their players to have memorable and fun experiences and memories and don't want to discourage that. But they get colds from it. They ought to call it the "Viral Bowl."
  9. You've "heard?" Where? I heard something from my step mom the other day. Not that you are wrong, but some sort of source would help me.
  10. I tried hard to find a leprosy GIF, but no luck.
  11. I, too, have always found levity to be the best approach when talking to lepers. You should also act interested and be sure to ask them how are things down at the colony? They appreciate that.
  12. "We've just got to see." "How bout those injuries?" "I'm really excited about it." "We have good coaches and good players and good injuries."
  13. Leprosy has always been a big problem in the NFL.
  14. I think Mahomes respects him, but if there is frustration, it is because Mahomes is a gunslinger, wants to win by passing, is great at it, and wants to make more decisions. EB loves the running game, and I have agreed that we need to run more, but I can't argue with the results. Mahomes has gotten better by listening more and trying to balance his game. But yes, I think he and EB butt heads sometimes. And they should sometimes. Andy Reid would not risk his reputation and credibility by touting somebody for a HC who he actually thinks would make his own recommendation look silly. I trust EB, because Andy Reid says he is a fine HC prospect.
  15. You may be right, but none of us really know. Nagy might have come to be OC in anticipation that EB would be signed as HC for someone this season. Reid has obvously been very vocal about EB's qualifications and pissed that no one hired him the last couple of years.
  16. I see that reasoning. Forgot his contract was up. Hopefully he will be signed as HC somewhere, not the AFC West. He knows our offense too well.
  17. So, you think he thinks he could get fired?? After a super bowl run? Let get REALLY wild in our speculation. How about Chiefs win the super bowl, Andy Reid announces his retirement completely shocking the football world, Bienemy becomes the new HC, and Nagy stays as his OC ready to take over if Bienemy fails.
  18. I know Bezos would deliver (c'mon, folks. That was an Amazon joke)
  19. I see what you mean, now. Of course, the plays that Bienemy would be calling come from the Reid playbook, which is why they would be hiring him anyway. And yes, it does take me longer to grasp "things." But that is more of a sexual matter.
