I think he's been hurt, and there just isn't enough space at the moment. I would think the organization is upset he got claimed. That's my guess. In fact, his absence is a big reason the special teams have been very unspecial. He just came off the injury list, and I don't know if there is some window where other teams can claim him if he is not immediately placed on the active roster. Someone else would know much more about that than me. I know Toub is probably upset.

I'd say that is a little dramatic. I can't say it would be "disastrous." Also, who gives a flying fuck what the Burrow crowd thinks or how relentless they are? The Chiefs will beat Cincy when we play better that day. That's the way things should be. If the Chiefs win on Sunday, they will be better that day, whether Mahomes is hobbled or absent. If they lose, they will be worse that day, maybe because of Mahomes' injury or sloppy defense or shitty special teams. Lammons was one of our best ST players. His loss is the last thing we need.

I disagree. Everything didn't "go their way." They played lights out, executed flawlessly. There were no disputed flags that gave them an advantage. They created their own lack of adversity. The only difference between their great game and ours is that their franchise QB did not suffer a high ankle sprain that will hobble them on Sunday. I hate to harsh your mellow, but I recommend realism.

They absolutely manhandled Buffalo at home in the snow. Didn't fumble or miss many passes. Ran like crazy. Played great defense. This may not be popular, but the truth for me is that Cincinatti is better than the Chiefs, even with a healthy Mahomes. This season has been a great run, and it has all come together in the last two weeks. But I think it ends next weekend.

He is our redemption for having drafted Blackledge. I'll tell you, Mahomes is the toughest MF'er to have ever played in order to play on an injury like that. That has been true for his other injuries, as well. He runs on sheer willpower. Unfortunately, we may not see him play until summer training camp. If it is so mild that he is able to play, he will be 80% at most. He won't be able to push off on his throws, which will cause more incompletions and interceptions, and he won't be able to scramble and improvise. Defenses will not have to keep a spy watching for him to run, which will leave another defensive back to play in coverage. To think that we can beat Buffalo or the Bengals, let alone the SB is close to a fantasy. But Mahomes is as close to magic as a QB can get.

In other words, you have no fuckin' idea, other than a general opinion based on those you might know personally. Otherwise known as a generalization. It may not be true at all.
