Brown is huge and excels in pass pro. He will be a great LT. He'll eventually contribute in the run game, too. But the pocket will be sound from the get go.

That's exactly what I was going to say, and not just because of the injury. He is expendable. He might be slightly better at the moment than a few who have higher ceilings. The ceilings height will win IMO.

There is really nothing to suggest otherwise, if you look at the statements of the team throughout the spring and this summer. It would make Remmers pretty expendable, if you think about it.

I wonder, too. I wonder if his return might be a semi-planned surprise sprung on opposing teams. Rotate him with Niang for awhile until Niang is totally comfortable. Then use him as backup and later as trade for a couple of draft picks.

The reason I am not concerned is that receiving is more complex than running for an RB, and CEH was coached for running in his first season. He had no OTA's or training camp in his first season, and this time he is working with the receivers coach and the QB's. He was repeatedly touted as a great receiver in college. I think he should be given the chance to be a receiving threat this year. He could even be seen as a "best kept secret." McKinnon has been doing that for some time and has received the receiving coaching at the NFL level, so it is no surprise that he is ahead of CEH in receiving. Same with Williams. Give him a chance is what I would recommend. yIt is way to early to demand performance in his first year of actual training camp. I believe Reid is going to do just that. year, a. There is a reason that Mahomes was pushing for CEH to be drafted last, and he was ecstatic that we got him. Mahomes has been looking for a solid outlet since Kareem Hunt was let go. Just running with a poor run supporting line last year, he still got over 1000 yards.

It takes a lot longer for a new O-line to gel and get their shit straight with each other. Fans are going to freak out in pre-season games, but I'm not worried. Of course, false starts will be a problem all season most likely. They are going to be good, though, when all is said and done. Probably won't start three rookies initially.
