  1. UUUUHhhhgggg! not bad. You took a leak of faith with that one, but I think you are all wet.
  2. It WILL be great to watch them do this early to open the passing game in the 2nd and 3rd quarters. In the 4th, it will be great to see them gobble up the clock and hold leads. In the 3rd quarter, defenses will have no idea and become tentative. Mahomes will feast on that.
  3. He really has to. But he will always be Mahomes and shouldn't be made into something he is not. He likes to chuck that thing downfield. We can never ask him to be another Alex Smith. He has to make his shots, especially with the improved O-line. Just need a tweak in the balance.
  4. On the second episode, as Balto wrote, the doctors saw multiple foci of "scar tissue," which we have been told are probabably areas of the old clots. Here is the problem with that: The doctors no doubt gave multiple explanations, that being one of them, but that explantion was chosen to be emphasised by his team and his agents, to maintain his hope for a great career. It was not free of bias or agenda. The truth is that a clot can form a "scar" if it never dissolves (fibrinolysis) and turns into a tiny scar, but even then, it is abnormal, because clots normally dissolve (undergo "fibrinolysis"), so that would still be abnormal. The other type of scar would be if the clots had actually caused dying of lung tissue (pulmonary "infarcts") that then healed by scarring, but that only happens with larger clots that obstruct a vessel big enough to cause that. Either of those possiblities is a problem, either because the clots did not dissolve, or because they were big enough to cause pulmonary infarctions that healed with scar tissue. Both are a risk and represent an abnormal condition that is as likely to happen again as not. The fact that it happened at all, out of the blue, suggests that there is an inherited shift of balance toward clotting and away from bleeding. A recurrence could happen at any time, more so with each passing year. I also think that what we hear is what his family, career advisors, and team representatives want to believe or want us to believe or both. There is a natural bias in all of these situations, and we can't take what we are told at face value, any more than saying an injured player is "day to day."
  5. Just what we need! Another chronically injured player.
  6. And thus, the long boring interval until the beginning of camp begins in earnest. At least mock drafts help us learn about players.
  7. He's satisfied being unsatisfied. That's something.
  8. Even if we are thin at WR or if HIll goes down, God forbid, our screen game will be resurrected and work very well with the new O-line, and Noah Gray and the RB's will be used a lot more in the passing game. Reid will enjoy Noah Gray with Kelce in some doubleTE sets, because Gray can catch very well, according to a recent article we have probably all seen. In that article, Noah was compared to Fasano. Andy loves his two TE sets when both can catch the ball.
  9. Absolutely. Pringle and DRob could thrive with an extra half second by our new O-line, to get some separation. I think one or the other will break out this season. Hardman has a concentration problem and will remain a gadget guy, I'm afraid. I think we may still sign a veteran as well.
  10. BTW (this is for Xen), I can't stand that forum picture in the lower left hand corner for whatever category of us that represents. i know he is some kind of martial arts guy, but to me, he just looks like a guy from from an old 1980's gay bar. I recommend a change. I don't want to get HIV of the eyes from looking at that. I'm not homophobic, but that's what it reminds me of. 😝
  11. Anything that even HINTS of the Raiders, even from a distance, is not going to happen with me.
  12. Put a little Tutu at the bottom of it, and I might consider it.
  13. Yeah. I wonder what they would look for to see if can pass whatever test he can take now.
  14. They just need another dog-torturer at QB to perk them all up.
  15. Especially when that LT is a proven pro-bowler at only age 25.
  16. I find it hard to believe that they wouldn't. Gay is a talented guy learning a complex Spagnuolo system. Niemann is a placeholder IMO, and not a very good one at that. In fact, I think this will be a breakout year for Gay, at least by midseason. That is based on my assumption that Gay is a rapid mental processing guy.
  17. I found it. I love the internet. https://www.dictionary.com/e/slang/karen/
  18. No problem, KC. I do that, too, Everyone does. BTW, I have always wondered where the term "Karen mode" comes from. Is that from a TV program? I've heard that expression for years, but I don't know.
  19. Condescending? I didn't realize it sounded that way. I apologize. Were you talking about the money comment and Fiji? Just the usual internet banter I'm used to . I always appreciate your posts. I've learned a lot from you over the years.
