  1. Same thing he is doing now. If you think the Chiefs have had a target on their back this year, what do you think it would be like next season, if we went perfect? Andy is always steps ahead.
  2. No sarcasm, but you make great points. I was responding to the suggestion that Davis would be too high in the first round. But if we really wanted him, we have enough picks with the compensatory picks and extra third round pick to move up a few spots if he is still there. But I agree, we have other needs that may be greater. I trust Reid and Veach and Co. to make a strategy that is better than anything we can come up with (fortunately).
  3. I would rather have a pulling guy, too. I was being sarcastic. I need to use emoji's better.
  4. 🍺💪 "The Old Grey Matter, She Ain't What She Used to Be." That's MY excuse.
  5. Just think of the reps they will get that will help depth and our chances in the playoffs when injuries occur. Think of the rest our tired and sore players will get with the extra week off. Remember the lack of importance this game has to the non-contenders as well, just like the Chargers. They will be trying to get their rookies experience for next year and will not have the intensity of drive to win at all costs, because they will be thinking of the future. That should make things pretty even.
  6. What the press should be focusing on is the crop of amazing rookies and udfa's that Veach came up with . Some of those guys are going to be stars.
  7. IC. Yeah. Does somebody on the forum know the track record for second round IOL's as opposed to later rounds? I just don't know. Even some 1st rounders are busts...like Luke Joeckle the same year Fish was drafted.
  8. It would be a reach to get an IOL, but a tackle is a different story. Wasn't Fisher the first player taken in the draft?
  9. We need a guy drafted to be ready to take over for Fisher in a few years. It takes 5 years for most O-linemen to reach their peak. It took Fisher three years to be adequate and five to become what he is now. He isn't going to last, and his replacement needs to be developed starting now. It is too important for protecting Mahomes.
  10. Don't Worry, Be Happy DWBH from earlier in this thread.
  11. For all these "coaches don't like him," "not very good" and "busts" on the team, we are 13-1, have a near certainty of a bye, and have all the national sports writers in awe. I just have great difficulty being a worry wart. In fact, my inability to worry has me worried. I am in with the DWBH narrative.
  12. Yeah. It will tell the story, but I am near certain that the coaches love him. It was likely a matchup problem. Anyway, I am not worried about him at all.
  13. Who knows? Maybe he was ill? Was hurting from practice? That was Nov. 1. We hadn't even won the divistion yet. The Steelers hadn't lost a game. The situation was completely different.
  14. It looks like the Steelers are going to lose again tonight. That would clinch the bye. So, yes. Play Gay and all of those young guys the next two games. Play them until they drop. Gay is going to be a staple on our team, I think. Very, very talented. He will be starting next year, but the next two games could be great for him to play as much as possible. Even if he embarrasses himself at times, he will still make some awesome plays here and there.
  15. The confusion is easy. After all, it was done as a raggae. McFerrin didn't shoot the sheriff, though. So, he had no reason to worry.
  16. ✔️ No shit. A little secret: When you get an earworm like that, you can neutralize it by thinking of "Sleigh Ride" It works every time. Then "Sleigh Ride" gets stuck in there, but not as long. Try it.
  17. HIs jokes were keeping everyone loose. That's no small thing.
