  1. On a more positive note NFL.com reports, "Chiefs TE Travis Kelce believed to have avoided long-term knee injury."
  2. How long does it take to recover from a hyperextended knee? I would think more than two days.
  3. In 2019 Patrick played with a high ankle sprain suffered in week one against none other than Jacksonville. He continued to play, winning four of the first six games. He was a little gimpy throughout and the ankle was a recurring story line. It was time off for the dislocated kneecap in week seven that also gave the ankle sprain time to heal. That was the left ankle, though. Not the right. But the point is, he wanted to play, he was able to play and he did play.
  4. I agree. Joe Burrow is a punk. He shouldn't be allowed to smoke cigars until he's old enough to shave. It's about time he had some comeuppance.
  5. Chuck Hughes. Not to diminish the gravity of his situation but he didn't die as a result of injury. Basically had a heart attack due to an undiagnosed condition. Damar Hamlin's situation appears to be from a freak coincidence. Apparently if it had happened milliseconds before or after it would not be so serious. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H-G9mziXL9w&t=60s
  6. That's okay. I don't eat Cheerios. But, yes, when they make the movie of Patrick's NFL career Andy will say that on the sidelines.
  7. I don't think Andy's Grim Reaper remark was stated on the field during the game. I think it was prompted by the reporter's use of the word, "grim," during the presser and Andy simply alluded to the Grim Reaper because of that. But of course it hit social media and instantly became urban legend. And now everyone believes this bullshit. I think it's kind of a sucky nickname. I hope it doesn't stick.
  8. This is the third Warpaint so that pretty much blows the shit out of that theory. They are not continuing the tradition.
  9. Disney wants MNF to move back to ABC. https://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2020/05/07/first-regular-season-game-in-las-vegas-will-be-simulcast-on-abc/ Per the article, The date of the game — September 21, 2020 — also will be the 50th anniversary of the debut of Monday Night Football. According to ESPN, no other 2020 Monday night games will be simulcast by ABC.
