I think he has more potential for being fired in the next year or two. I am sure KC was willing to match his offer. Unless Tillis was truly the sole guru on the cap and the Chiefs have equally good people in the room to fill in. Think it is a poor decision on his part.

Odd that the Chiefs let him go. He is filling the same position he had with the Chiefs. Perhaps he was not happy here. The only thing I can imagine is that his contract was up and the panthers threw an absurd amount of money at him and the Chiefs chose not to match.

The Defense again pretty much played lights out with exception of the last series. Raiders game plan was to hold Mahomes in the pocket and they were able to get pressure on him. Receivers were sitting on everything short and the front seven of the Raiders played discipline sound football. Really no time to even think of taking any deep shots. Our Offensive line got pushed around in a big way. We did not match the Raiders energy today. The two Defensive scores we gave up were an absolute embarrassment. Our offensive line was absolutely terrible today. Could not run block and could not pass block. One disturbing thing today was how Pachecho's helmet kept getting ripped off. I noticed that the Raiders, in particular Max Crosby were tackling around the neck in a rather violent way. It really seemed the Raiders were not trying to tackle , but to injure. Hope Pop is ok. As it stands, I do not have any confidence that this team is going to win the AFC West. The Chiefs have completely come apart at the seams. Number one seed is gone. If they are not careful , the playoffs will be gone as well. The worst thing about this is that two Patrick Mahomes mistakes, lost this game. It is squarely on his shoulders, even though he tries everything he could to to come back and kept a lot of plays alive with his legs, that still does not make up the all the mistakes he made. This team needs to have a "Come to Jesus Moment". Hopefully this game will provide that for them.

Inexperienced Wide Receiver Coach that is not seasoned enough to hold his guys accountable . Also not coaching the position he played. They need some coaching help. These guys should be getting better and they are not.

Let's keep our fingers crossed that it is not serious. Guessing he will be out for Thursday's game, which sucks. Means other players have to step up. Detroit surely was gameplanning to double Kelce, so we could have an edge on them having no idea what to expect.

I am hearing people talking that the Chiefs may be considering Jamyr Gibbs in the first round. This kid is being compared to Jamar Charles. Looking at his tape, it is a fair comparison. He hits the hole and he is gone. The kid also led Alabama in receiving.. What did Alabama in this year was the fact that they finally ran out of all world receivers. Gibbs is special and in my opinion , I would not be that upset if the Chiefs took him, although they may have to move up in the draft to get him. To be honest with you, I would rather have the Chiefs take Gibbs, than seeing the Chargers, Bills, or Bengals get him. This kid is going to be a problem. Any Reid did use Jamal Charles and he used him well. This is a perfect fit. He has the speed and quickness that Clyde severely lacks. Looking at the numbers , gibbs is slightly shorter than Charles, but is faster and quicker and a better receiver. He is just not a prototypical running back like Robinson, who is 225 lb. Imagin having a guy like Gibbs in a light box, or imagine what our passing offiense does if we have 8-9 in the box. Either way, that equals death to everyone. This pick would be the Doomsday Scenerio to the rest of the NFL.

Some has to do with upfront money, but this deal is significantly lower than what was offered previously. I suspect the Chiefs did not offer anything close to what he was offered last year, but surely was better than what Cincy offered. Personally, I am fine with him moving on. I think we will be better off in the long run.

Good player. Has a pretty high win rate. Excellent length and a tremendous wingspan. Has inside/ outside versatility. He should fit nicely with the Chiefs. This really helps the Chiefs out. Now their pick at 31 is completely wide open. There will not be a pick made based on despirate need. We still have needs on DL, OL, and WR , however if a really good player falls that is not is hose position groups, the Chiefs can now pick them without blinking an eye.

I would be shocked , if way they are running the QB sneak is not banned this year. It currently legal, but I suspect it will not be moving forward.

The underdogs prevailed !!!!! What a game. This team all heart! So proud to be a Chiefs fan. I remember the days when a championship was a pipe dream. Now 3 appearances in 4 years and two Championships. Who knows how many more. Blessed to be a Chiefs fan. Love all you guys !

The Eagles will have their moments, but my thought process is that if they do not completely dominate the Chiefs in the trenches, I think we can perform well enough to win. An interesting comment made by Troy Aikman when predicting an Eagles victory was a quote from Jimmy Johnson. It's not teams that make the most big plays that win the Super Bowl. It's the one that makes the fewest bad ones.

Unless our Offensive line play terrible, I think we can nullify Philly's strength of getting sacks. I expect screens and runs in right at Reddick. Similar gameplan to what we did to Nick Bosa. The guy on Brown is more of a power rusher. I expect the Eagles to struggle to put points up early and for the Chiefs to get up early. Reid and Spags initial game plans will be A+ . The question will be whether or not Philly can adjust. Thus Siriani's first Super Bowl. Mistakes in preparation will be made and knowing exactly how to handle everything on gameday for a Super Bowl is new to him. I give the big edge to the Chiefs and is a reasonI believe they start fast.

I read today that Adam Teicher picked the Eagles to win 27-20. My take on that is WTF ! Then again I have never been impressed with his reporting. My reasoning for the Chiefs winning is that the Eagles have feasted on bad NFL teams. The ones that had good offenses put up lots of points. The Eagles have not faced an Offense like the Chiefs all year long. The Chiefs have faced great Defenses all year long and performed well. If the Chiefs play a B+ or better game, they will win by two scores.
