  1. Tide is shifting. KC is due some more good luck. Rogers was out & now Cooper.
  2. Cowboys placed Amari Cooper on the reserve/COVID list. Welp. Not only will Cooper miss Sunday's riveting showdown in Kansas City, there's a chance the veteran wideout is not able to get cleared in time for Thanksgiving against the Raiders, either. It's a disastrous on-field development that increases the usage of both Michael Gallup and Dalton Schultz out of necessity. Managers should also expect CeeDee Lamb to stay glued to the field both from the boundary and slot as a full-time player.
  3. Only scratching the surface. Should get better each and every week. Love it.
  4. At this point of this season Dallas is the better balanced team. I think KC gets some crazy breaks in this game and as a result of a little, over due , luck wins this game 34-33. Yes Dallas missed an extra point and had 2 turnovers. KC no turnovers.
  5. KC is doing well in TOP. Long KC drives are just as likely.
  6. I think KC gave this kid a big signing bonus. Thats shows they really wanted him.
  7. I doubt an NFL team gives up picks for a guy that has not played a snap in the NFL. I think KC plans on this guy as the #2 starting next year. Cheap contract and good skills if Mahomes misses a few games.
  8. Kelce is a much better actor than Mahomes. SNL may be up next. LOL
  9. I liked what I saw pre season. PER AP. Yates added that the reason the Chiefs needed to make the roster move is that the Arizona Cardinals are dealing with injuries to their quarterback position — and were attempting to sign Buechele to their active roster. No corresponding move will be required to activate Buechele to the roster. Kansas City has a roster spot open after placing offensive lineman Mike Remmers on injured reserve on Saturday. Previous roster moves would indicate that this is not close to the first time the 23-year-old has drawn interest this season, as he has been protected by the Chiefs in the last six consecutive weeks leading up to the call-up. Buechele was 37 of 55 for 422 yards, three touchdowns and two interceptions in the preseason. The Chiefs paid him generously to sign with the club as an undrafted free agent heading into the 2021 season. As it happens, Buechele’s name came up after the Chiefs’ 41-14 Sunday Night Football win over the Las Vegas Raiders, as he provided inspiration for Patrick Mahomes to regain his swagger. It sure seemed that Mahomes did just that. And Buechele? He gained a spot on the 53-man roster — and if it wasn’t clear enough before, he is the Chiefs’ backup quarterback of the future.
  10. Haters is a strong word. Some have simply discussed his play and the trade.
  11. I choose to keep my hopes up. Its easy to go negative in life.
  12. Seems Reid likes to give guys extra time vs rushing them back. After the bye?
  13. Incredibly Overmatched? I respectfully incredibly disagree. No team is that much better than KC. Its the Mahomes factor.
  14. Probably choose Brown vs HB. Not sure they can do both?
  15. His comment about the fans was unforgivable. Time to move on next year.
  16. This will be a huge test for sure. Dallas looks like a very balanced team. Forget the Denver loss. Every team has an awful game once in awhile. I think this is the best team Kc faces on the remaining schedule. Ill wait till later this week for my prediction.
  17. It seems to me Reid was giving the calls to EB and he then gave it to Mahomes. Remeber SB when EB said to Reid he wants WASP. Maybe Reid was simply calling it direct to Mahomes last night?
  18. This is KC opportunity to eliminate all the negative BS from fans and press. The team will be ready to get back to being the division leader and into the SB conversation. Chiefs will show up angry and ready to rock. Mahomes will be MVP Mahomes. Raiders are without Ruggs and that is a big deal. Chiefs roll 34-24 with Raiders scoring in garbage time.
  19. Rams agreed to terms with WR Odell Beckham. There is some conflicting information, but ESPN's Adam Schefter reports Beckham is "expected to be an LA Ram." That is good enough for us. It's amazing for the Rams and a pain in fantasy, as Beckham will now be fighting with Cooper Kupp and Robert Woods for targets, keeping his own outlook volatile while perhaps dimming Kupp's all-world 2021 pace. As for Woods, his WR2 stabilization program is now off track. Even in this more crowded receiver corps, Beckham's WR3 reliability should increase. He is going from a run-first attack to pass-obsessed offense, getting a major upgrade at quarterback, and all in all playing in a more explosive offense than the one he left in Cleveland. That is not to ding Kevin Stefanski's excellent system, but Sean McVay's is where you want to be if you are a wideout. Beckham's arrival returns Van Jefferson to the bottom of the WR5 barrel and probably leaves Tyler Higbee as more of a TE2 than TE1.
  20. I remember reading lots of conversation on this board about Mahomes throwing people open? OBJ would be a low risk signing that cant hurt.
  21. All good stuff and encouraging. If Rogers had played the results may have been much different.
