Chiefs CB Charvarius Ward (quad) is inactive for Week 3 against the Chargers. Ward joins DE Frank Clark (hamstring) on the shelf. They are two huge losses for a projected shootout. KC can still out score anyone. How much worse can the defense play. Its just easier to accept the defense will stink and root for Mahomes.

No way to know if Ward was the second best rusher. Totally unproven player. Yet second best rusher may be awful on this team. I dont see KC rushing the passer this year. This will look like the Raiders defgense. Its all on the Offense

Sure its easy to have fun with that. Jackson was MVP. The current offense works based on his abilty to scramble and run. He is not just a runner. So when he goes down the Ravens will be paying Big Bucks for a guy that can no longer do that job. So now they have CAP issues and need to rework their offense and find a top QB. Its just a matter of time. The next play could be his last.
