One advantage KC has is Herbert has not played in front of a full Arrowhead in a meaningful game. Last season was much easier for rookie QBs.

The bad news is that Frank Clark (hamstring) who did not appear on the report to start the week on Wednesday, was placed on the report Thursday as limited with that lingering hamstring issue that cost him the preseason. Chiefs head coach Andy Reid should provide more information on the issue in his media appearance Friday afternoon.

Joey Bosa (foot, ankle) missed Wednesday and Thursday's practices. Bosa isn't exactly prone to getting in full weeks of practice, but this certainly has our attention ahead of Sunday's sky-high totaled game with the Chiefs. Bosa's absence would significantly dent the Chargers' upset odds. Bosa needs to get in at least a "limited" session on Friday to have a realistic shot at suiting up

I have no faith in any of the d-line guys except Jones. The other guys have proven they are not good. Dont want to hear need time to adjust to new systems etc. That BS. These guys have been playing from age 6.

It a bit of a false stat. May be one month or 6 months younger. Team in 32 position is not much older if you actually look at the numbers.

He has a tummy ache. No significant injury. Point: Ravens window will close on a heart beat sooner than later. Jackson will have a short career as all running backs do. So better win now cause tomorrow may not provide that opportunity. Good luck finding another QB to fit that offense.

I have not seen anything good from Nnadi at any time in his career. If he is so good why has KC sucked against the run season after season? Reed was suppose to be a steel at about 5 million for one year. So far he also is not good. Clark is all talk. The back ups also not great or they would start ahead of the pathetic starters. Bottom line is the Chiefs d-line a toilet. Bad draft picks and free agent signings. Cant just blame the linebackers ,although that is another example of lousy free agent signings. Yes there are a couple of picks that MAY be good, Bolton & Gay have potential. Its still potential. Im over the lets pick up someone elses poor high draft pick cause KC can coach them up. I guess not so much.

Its unfortunate that Veach has not drafted well for defense. Yes a couple good guys but way more misses. Yes a couple of finds but those are average at best players. His free agent signings other than HB have been mostly just ok. Trading away high picks is taking a toll.

For me I accept the D will not be good. Just need a couple of stops and the Offense with an improving oline can win every game. D could not have been much worse than the Balt game and yet KC had that won if not for a turnover. I dont see how the D will get much better against decent teams. SO Mahomes is positioned to break every NFL record. He has the oline and oline depth. He has weapons and some depth. I dont see any defense able to stop KC. none. This may not be a 13-3 team but who cares. Tamba Bay was a wild card. Just get to the dance.

I think its about helping all the players avoid injuries, not just the QB. These guys all deserve longer careers in a sport that now has massive athletes hitting each other. Faster, Bigger, Stronger.

Exactly. No ledge. Just reality. Chiefs offense can out score anyone. Just need one or two stops per game. I accept the defense will not be good. It feels better just admitting it. Mahomes probably sees the same thing. Reid can see it to. Good thing the oline is capable of protecting Mahomes and has some decent depth. Its 2018 all over again. Let the shootouts begin.
