  1. AP:If there were any lingering questions about right tackle, there shouldn’t be. Rookie Lucas Niang took all the first-team plays again, all but confirming a three-rookie offensive line. The second-team offensive lineup was worth noting, with Andrew Wylie sliding from right tackle to right guard as Mike Remmers went from left tackle to right tackle. The rest of the line went as follows — Prince Tega Wanogho at left tackle, Yasir Durant at left guard and Nick Allegretti at center.
  2. AP:There was a strong sign that the Chiefs are comfortable keeping four tight ends on this roster. On Mahomes’ 5-yard touchdown pass to tight end Blake Bell, there were three other tight ends on the field — Kelce, Noah Gray and Jody Fortson. Chiefs head coach Andy Reid drawing up pass plays with four tight ends on the field at once (14 personnel) is an indication Fortson will be on this roster come Tuesday.
  3. I think Robinson will make the team. Forstom makes it. Fountain Makes it. Surprise cuts Thompson, Powell & Watts gone. Key is gone.
  4. I dont think he clears waivers. KC can cut Henne and bring him back if Mahomes gets hurt.

  7. Chiefs could cut Henne and he probably would be available if Mahomes went down. Beuchelle will not clear waivers. Too many teams in QB hell.
  8. I called it weeks ago. Like Beuchelle. Next years #2. I would not waive him?
  9. Every year I think Kc has talent that when released will be claimed by other teams. Its usually not been the case. This year may be different. OOPS there I go again.
  10. Im sure Hands will take this out for 10-15 years of drafts and trades. I did not like this trade day 1. Way too much to give up for one year and then a massive contract. Now Im rooting for Brown this year. I think Veach did great with his two #2s and that 6th! Overall: Great draft for KC. Veach has executed his plan extremely well. Nothing else matters for KC. If it works out well for Balt that fine. Both teams can win. Ill take another AFC championship and let Balt win the day on the trade. LOL
  11. Point: Shoulding All Over People is? I am a fan. I route for my team. Im not thrilled when they lose. I move on regardless of SB or not. Its entertainment.
  12. Both graded out decent, are young and plat a couple of positions. Teams in need may be thrilled to get a guy vs risking they pass thru waivers. Their contracts are on the cheap.
  13. I would not be shocked if Powell is waived. Veach has shown he wants some security in receivers. Signing Watkins as an example. Not sure he will keep a receiver project or future potential receiver on the roster. Other positions yes. Receiver maybe not. Powell has not shown much.
  14. NJ.com reports the Giants' offensive line has "had a rough camp overall." Per beat writer Zack Rosenblatt, "Thursday might’ve been one of their worst days." Rosenblatt believes the "time to sound the alarm for the Giants offensive line has already came and went." Rosenblatt singled out RT Matt Peart as someone who got absolutely dominated by the Patriots in joint practices. Neither Peart nor LT Andrew Thomas covered themselves in glory last season, and the G-Men did little to address what was one of the league's very worst lines. It is something to remember when drafting Saquon Barkley or superflexing Daniel Jones.

  16. There is nothing indicating he is planning to retire. I would take a 5th. With Cinn its almost a late 4th.
  17. Maybe he does not want be a back up? Maybe he is playing for a new contract next year? Maybe the new team will give him an new deal? Maybe not?
  18. Ill say it again. I think Robinson is cut. But Toub made headlines when he spoke of a returner who doesn’t play in quite the same way: Demarcus Robinson, who gained only five yards in two punt returns against the Cardinals on Friday night — mostly from moving east-and-west. “He drives me nuts a little bit,” said Toub of the sixth-year wide receiver, drawing laughter from reporters. “He really does, to be honest. And he knows it. I’d like to see him catch it and keep the ball close to his body. He doesn’t do that. I’d like to see him get north-and-south. He doesn’t do that. Those are things we talk about all the time.”
  19. I Always get a LOL from your hostile energy. Thanks again.
  20. A Day 2 pick to the Kansas City Chiefs for G Laurent Duvernay-Tardif The Cincinnati Bengals have bolstered an offensive line that nearly got 2020 No. 1 overall pick Joe Burrow killed last season, but the interior remains a potential problem, and they could use a solid veteran to take some pressure off of underwhelming potential starting guards Michael Jordan, Xavier Su’a-Filo and Quinton Spain. Duvernay-Tardif could be on the outs with the Chiefs, who signed veteran Joe Thuney and used a second-round draft pick on Creed Humphrey. He’s 30 but, like Solder, could be fresh after a year off. At the very least, the highly-respected vet would likely be a reliable presence inside, and he brings plenty of experience and playoff pedigree to a rebuilding team. For Burrow’s sake, that’d be worth a third-round pick if the Chiefs were willing to participa
