  1. Chiefs made a mistake in cutting Hunt before seeing what the league would decide. Huge mistake. I hope they dont make that mistake again. Players lie all the time. It was an overreaction. KC handled Hill much better. See Superbowl Champs. Humans do bad things sometimes. Doesnt mean thats who they are.
  2. The only thing I know is Taco is good on Tuesday. Other than that there is no reason to think TACO is special.
  3. Many NFL players have faced gun charges. I dont think the NFL suspended any of them. I dont think KC can get out of the contract. Let him play this year and goodbye. It does not matter to me what the " World" thinks about the Chiefs. I do not align my self worth with the KC image, good or not good. Just win.
  4. His attorney is saying A Tampa Player planted the gun & called police.
  5. FRANK CLARKDL, KANSAS CITY CHIEFS Chiefs DE Frank Clark was arrested Sunday night in Los Angeles for felony illegal possession of a firearm. According to a police report, Clark had an Uzi in a duffle bag in his SUV, discovered during a routine traffic stop Sunday evening. Clark was booked in L.A. county jail Monday morning and remains behind bars. Clark entered the NFL with an off-field history after being kicked off the Michigan football team. Acquired from the Seahawks prior to the 2019 season, Clark has 14 sacks across 31 regular-season games for the Chiefs the last two years.
  6. I wonder if the Lamber is red? He obviously was not concerned about drawing attention to himself. I made the statement " I smell blood in the water and its Clarks blood ", earlier. Sorry I was correct.
  7. In Calif thats not a good place to be facing a felony on gun charges. He may well get some jail time.
  8. ESPN's Adam Teicher said "it's easy to see" how rookie TE Noah Gray "could get a significant amount of playing time" in 2021. Teicher expects Gray -- a fifth rounder out of Duke -- to play in Kansas City's multiple tight end sets. The rookie could, per Teicher, see extended playing time if the Chiefs rest Travis Kelce during parts of the NFL's new 17-game season. Patrick Mahomes dropped back 96 times last season in multiple tight end sets, throwing for 899 yards and nine touchdowns with zero picks while taking just one sack. Gray, Duke's all-time leading tight end, has stood out in KC's offseason practices as a potential weapon in the team's already-explosive passing attack. He looks like a decent late-round flier in tight end premium formats this summer.
  9. I dont think he lacked motivation or effort. He is simply an overrated player. He is what he is. I doubt much will change this season.
  10. Did not attend any activities including mini camp? Chiefs waived LG Martinas Rankin. Rankin was waived to make room on the roster for Darrius Shepherd. He only appeared in one game last year, starting at left tackle in a Week 17 game that saw a handful of Kansas City's starters resting for the playoffs. Rankin played the left guard position for Kansas City in 2019. He began the 2020 season on the PUP list and was frequently kept off the gameday roster even when healthy. Rankin wasn't going to start for the Chiefs this year but could have been a viable backup at tackle. However, he did not appear at OTAs or mandatory minicamp. If he clears waivers, Rankins will be a solid option at tackle or guard for a team in need of offensive line depth and versatility.
  11. My point was Clark is not doubled and Jones was. Clark should benefit from Jones being doubled and has not.
  12. I think Jones has been doubled as a result of Clarks play. The numbers dont lie. He is average at best.
  13. I smell blood in the water. Unfortunately its Clarks. Completely overrated player. Chiefs d-line was simply not real good last year and Clark was the biggest reason. Clark’s 59.6 pass-rush grade since signing the deal in 2019 ranks 117th among edge rushers with at least 100 pass-rush snaps. The other four edge rushers making at least $20 million per year over that same span? Myles Garrett — 91.5 pass-rush grade (2nd) Joey Bosa — 91.0 pass-rush grade (3rd) Khalil Mack — 89.3 pass-rush grade (5th) Demarcus Lawrence — 86.8 pass-rush grade (7th)
  14. Chiefs defensive end Frank Clark has been very much up and down since Kansas City acquired him from the Seattle Seahawks prior to the 2019 season. Clark has never become that double-digit sack guy that he was in Seattle and while he has been praised for his run defense, the overall team run defense hasn’t improved all that much and you don’t pay $100 million for a decent run-defender and mediocre pass-rusher. In fact, Clark only had a 9.8% pressure rate in 2020 which ranked 53rd among all defensive ends. That has to improve.
  15. Your Breakout Player? Your rookie of the year? I pick Hardman for breakout player. With time to pass Hardman gets more targets and more room to run. Humphrey for rookie of the year. Not a reach.
  16. I respectfully disagree. He knew well in advance. He also knows there is competition. Out one year and not participating this year. Appears NOT HUNGRY but hungry just enough to get one more year of KC money.
  17. Thats setting an example. LDT did not even show up? I think LDT just wants the money and no longer wants to do the work.
  18. This guy was a trouble maker long before KC signed him. Character counts. I hope KC avoids these drama queens in the future.
