  1. That was before adding Brown. That changes everything money wise. I do want Hardman traded period. We would be completely bitching about Watkins but for KC winning it all. Watkins was a horrible Veach signing and resigned the guy also not good. I hated that deal at the time but Watkins showed up in the playoffs.
  2. They have lots of picks and those last two looked like good prospects. I dont see a reach. Then again what the hell do I know. LOL
  3. I think a couple of Chiefs will get cut , after the draft, based on the draft so far. Maybe traded?
  4. Big compared to what? Does not matter I still dont deal Hardman.
  5. Not there yet and he has cto earn it first. Too much talent to deal for an old guy , with a big contract and include picks. No thank you. Should be some veteran receivers cut soon.
  6. Strengths: Humphrey has fantastic movement skills for an offensive lineman. He gets out in front of the play effortlessly and has a high motor to keep finding work in space. Humphrey’s wrestling background shows up on the field, as he has good core strength and bend to hold the point of attack. He is a smart player who called protections for Oklahoma for three years. Humphrey is light on his feet, and he shows the ability to mirror the rushers well to keep the defender inside his frame. He is agile and shows a natural ability to stay on his feet when working through defensive linemen and linebackers to keep finding work. Humphrey shifted to guard for some reps at the Senior Bowl and looked a lot more in control of the line of scrimmage than he did in his center reps.
  7. Weaknesses: Humphrey can struggle with angles when pulling or climbing, and he will completely overrun the linebacker or safety in space. He lacks a powerful base, and he doesn’t really drive players off the ball in the running game. Humphrey has some baffling pass protection reps for being the player that calls the fronts, and he will completely miss a blitzer or looping rusher. He doesn’t have the finisher’s mentality that other players in this class do, as too many of his reps he’s just holding on for dear life. Humphrey was blown off the ball in almost every rep he had at center in Mobile and looked poor against a variety of competition levels. He struggles to latch on to the defender and turn him, and players will bounce off of him in the run game to make the tackle a gap away. Humphrey transitions late off his primary block to pick up the looping rusher too often and will end up with a holding penalty. How he fits with the Chiefs: While Humphrey isn’t a mauler, his movement skill and football IQ should see his name called on day two of the draft. If the Chiefs were looking to pair another good moving offensive lineman with Joe Thuney on the interior, Humphrey could make a lot of sense for the Chiefs. He’ll need to develop his anchor to allow Mahomes to step up into the pocket, but Humphrey has the physical tools and mental processing to be a quality starter in the league.
  8. My take. Trading Hardman would be another Joe Horn mistake. NO no less. Hardman is set to emerge year three.
  9. Bolton Weaknesses: Bolton’s weaknesses largely revolve around his coverage ability. He wasn’t asked to cover often in man coverage, and he was largely a hook zone dropper in 2020. Bolton needs to sink better in his zone drops when no routes develop underneath him. His route feel is week and he struggled to stay in phase when in man coverage. Bolton overpursues play-action passes and ends up very late to pick up a tight end or running back leaking to his side of the field. He will sometimes load up for the tone-setting hit and whiff against nimble opponents. How he fits with the Chiefs: Bolton’s build, high football IQ, range and block deconstruction would make him an ideal fit for any of Steve Spagnuolo’s linebacker spots. He would immediately play on base downs next to Anthony Hitchens and Willie Gay Jr. — and could ease into sub-packages as his coverage ability progresses. Going forward, Bolton would be an ideal fit at the MIKE linebacker position, giving them a very athletic pair of linebackers in 2022 and beyond.
  10. Bolton. Strengths: Bolton is an explosive, dense athlete who is well built for the linebacker position. He possesses terrific burst when getting downhill and converts that to power well when attacking blockers and ballcarriers. This explosion also translates to his blitzing ability as well. Bolton does well to square up and play behind his pads, and he limits extra yardage from the ball-carrier when tackling. He has good ankle flexion to plant and drive downhill through the gap. He takes terrific angles and doesn’t often end up behind the play. Bolton called fronts for Missouri as the MIKE linebacker and possessed good enough range to play in the middle of the field. He has a high football IQ and communicates adjustments well to his teammates. Bolton has good body control and attacks the proper shoulder of the offensive line to leverage and rip through to where he’s going. His gap control between the tackles is top-notch, and he uses his lateral agility to poke his head in a gap, then cut back to the ball-carrier for a stop.
  11. Best thing of all. This board can now stop spending 90% of the time pissing and moaning about the oline. LOL
  12. What a great oline KC has put together. Mahomes 6,000 yards this year.
  13. How about this guy? Jeremiah Owusu-KoramoahNotre Dame LB
  14. I guess the Gurley deal was a failure. Donkeys keep trying to fix the same bad decisions over & over again. The Elway Legacy.
  15. You added good KARMA to KC chances of landing him. Yes
  16. Chiefs signed RB Jerick McKinnon, formerly of the 49ers. McKinnon is yet another receiving weapon to deploy from Kansas City's backfield behind Clyde Edwards-Helaire and Darrel 'The Mentor' Williams. Coach Kyle Shanahan attempted to lean on McKinnon in place of Raheem Mostert and Tevin Coleman at one point last year but that resulted in the 28-year-old getting burnt out for 2.6 YPC over his last 12 games. He'll likely be used as a rotational player on third downs and doesn't offer fantasy value unless either player ahead of him misses time.
  17. Does KC take a chance on this guy? First year is a semi learning year in this offense. Big upside with health issues too. Terrace Marshall Jr.
  18. Per AP for what its worth. Matt, Pick #63: With the later second-round pick — assuming Dyami Brown is off of the board — the biggest upgrade that could change the Chiefs offense in both the running and passing game is my guy: Tommy Tremble. The Chiefs would be getting their version of George Kittle: a nasty blocker with some playmaking upside.
