  1. Better competition in the west is good for KC. Tampa proved you dont need home field anything to win it all.
  2. “The O-line is in a really good situation,” noted Schwartz. “The Super Bowl really enforced you need your offensive line at a certain level.” While the left side of the line seems to be set in stone with Brown Jr. and Thuney, there are still questions marks about the right side, with Niang and Remmers appearing to be the two that will compete for the starting right tackle job. If he can return healthy, Schwartz might undeniably be an upgrade of both Niang and Remmers, as well as the final piece to a puzzle that seemed impossible to solve just six weeks ago. Yes, the Chiefs’ offensive line is in a good situation right now, but Schwartz’s return might turn a good situation into a great one.
  3. Mitchell Schwartz is open to returning to the Chiefs In an interview with 610, the former Chiefs expresses his desire to carry on playing - hopefully in Kansas City Former Kansas City Chiefs right tackle Mitch Schwartz joined “The Drive” on 610 Sports Radio for a full hour on Thursday afternoon, explaining to host Carrington Harrison he decided to take up permanent residence in Kansas City because “it just felt like home.” As it turns out, Schwartz is also open to returning to work there. While the left side of the line seems to be set in stone with Brown Jr. and Thuney, there are still questions marks about the right side, with Niang and Remmers appearing to be the two that will compete for the starting right tackle job. 5. We are discussing moving back into round one for the guy you want now. Great DE for instance. You know who you are taking.
  6. Because maybe he can thrive there? Reed also plays tackle. Chiefs seem stacked at tackle. Last year having Jones inside did not result in a great pass rush. Clark is an enigma for sure. Wharton does not seem like an answer outside that actually improves last years production. No doubt my nfl player knowledge is way below average. I dont invest my time scouting. So Im actually interested in what you and others think.
  7. Yes why not. KC has several options inside and can not play them all. I would like to see Jones & Reed on the field most of the time. Jarran Reed agrees to a one-year deal with the Chiefs. What it means: Reed, who has 19 sacks in the past three years, could team with defensive tackle Chris Jones to give the Chiefs a strong interior pass-rushing combination. Reed will join a playing rotation that includes Jones, Derrick Nnadi and Tershawn Wharton. Nnadi is mostly a run defender. Wharton showed promise last year as an undrafted rookie but isn't as accomplished as Reed.
  8. How long will Jackson be able to play before suffering a injury? Its the NFL not flag football. Big risk giving him a big contract with his current style of play. Maybe he will dial back his penchant for looking to run so often.
  9. I wonder if Jones at DE is something KC is really considering? DT seems deep. Can Jones play outside a majority of his snaps?
  10. Sure. To me its about who KC gets now more than what the other team gets. I would love another great pass rushing DE!
  11. For fun What would you give up to get one of these guys? Jaelan Phillips (Jr., Miami, 6-foot-5, 260 pounds) ... Jayson Oweh (So., Penn St., 6-4, 257) ... Carlos Basham Jr. ( ... Joseph Ossai (Jr., Texas, 6-3, 256) ...
  12. Could include next years picks. Maybe even #1 for the perfect awesome edge guy. Veach is fearless and has job security.
  13. Yep. 50 years is a long time. I also enjoy the team continuity and lack of drama. Win or lose, its nice to see some players getting what they deserve and staying in KC. Coaches are also treated with respect. First Class all the way. Its draft day. Im loving it.
  14. Exactly. I just enjoy knowing KC is in every game. Its not superbowl or failure for me. I remember just praying for a playoff win to get the monkey off the teams back. Yes we deserve to enjoy this team while we can. No guarantees in life.
  15. Its meant to be sarcastic. No way am I defensive, especially with your posts. I actually think my question " Does this deal help Balt beat KC ? " is legit.
  16. Hardman would start in Balt. Just no room in KC so far.
  17. Well , you are clear that the Ravens are the most perfect drafting team , best 14 starters drafted, best perfect front office, #1 Best GM EVER , Best Perfect Free Agents Signings, Best Head Coach EVER and THE BEST LOGO Management. Yet: Chiefs 3-0 vs Jackson. So there is that. Maybe its Jackson? Having Brown, yes Chiefs over payed, will help KC win a few more games. Does the trade help Balt beat KC? We shall see.
  18. This does not matter. Kc needed a LT. Got a great one. Balt gets draft picks that may be awesome and may not be. So if this is critical to helping you feel better then you may also consider a hobby, a dog or comfort food.
