  1. Sure maybe. Maybe not or maybe 2022. Is that the standard? Thats not ok. RT needs be at least above average or thats where teams will attack.
  2. Niang has hardly played for two years. He is a complete unknown. No spring practice NO Pre Season Practice Sure I hope he the next great thing. I doubt KC is counting on him to start this year. Putting anything but a proven player at RT makes no sense. Maybe he proves something this pre season but I dont think Veach will sit on HOPE. I think the KC offense will look very different this year. I think it will be focused on CEH and his skills. I think it will look more like the TB offense with a line that gives Mahomes a chance to get the ball out quick and a line that can actually run block. Yes the Deep shots will be there just not depending on it.
  3. I hope they are not counting on drafting an immediate starter. Should be plenty of decent linemen available on the cheap once the first RUSH is over. Id like to see those early 1 & 2 picks defense. Last few years was offense early. I dont like the big money free agent signings. Maybe 1 out of 5 works out. KC won the SB so the Clark signing , not to mention the picks, worked out. If KC had not won the SB many would be up in arms about Clark. Huge investment with a just OK return. Short term it worked out. Good thing Jimmy G missed Sanders on that TD Pass. Long term has not worked out.
  4. Thuney, 28, first entered the league as a third-round pick made by the New England Patriots in the third round of the 2016 NFL Draft. The 6-foot-5, 308-pound offensive lineman primarily played left guard as a member of the New England Patriots, though he started two games at center due to injury in 2020 while playing left tackle at practice. He also played some tackle during his tenure at NC State.
  5. Albert Breer @AlbertBreer · 9m More details on new Chiefs G Joe Thuney's five-year, $80 million deal. • $32.5 million in the first 2 years, fully guaranteed. • 3rd year becomes fully guaranteed next March. So ... • Practical guarantee: $48 million over the first 3 years.
  6. Chiefs signed LG Joe Thuney, formerly of the Patriots, to a five-year, $80 million contract. Thuney gets $48 million in practical guarantees over the first three seasons.. The Chiefs gutted their entire offensive line this offseason, so a splash move like this one was desperately needed. Thuney, 28, was considered to be the top interior offensive line free agent this offseason and offers All-Pro upside in the short term. He was a reliable starter in all five seasons with the Patriots at multiple positions after being a third-rounder in 2016. Kansas City is still looking for a center and at least one more offensive tackle, but this is an excellent answer to the Chiefs' offensive line issues.

  8. When KC wins this Superbowl the oline issue will be a non Fisher issue. Win with mostly back ups is amazing.
  9. SO I NOTICED....... Hands is not commenting on How the Chiefs dominated the Bills that dominated the Ravens. LOL
  10. Yep. I remember guys complaining Ford was a one trick pony cause he could not defend the run. Clark is a complete player. Sacks are not the only measure. Is he over paid? Yes. Most guys are on their second contract.
  11. Glad Mahomes is such an amazing leader & does not hate on guys making a mistake. For the HARDMAN HATERS. Great video. Mahomes! https://www.arrowheadpride.com/2021/1/25/22249251/watch-patrick-mahomes-encourage-mecole-hardman-after-muffed-punt
  12. Clark is still a difference maker. Hardman is a game changer & brings fear of speed on the field even as a decoy. So many on this board only care too much about worthless stats. Chiefs pressure yesterday was excellent. Mahomes was only sacked 22 times this season. Team is 26-1 in Mahomes last 27 starts. So yes must be a lot of worthless players starting in KC? These same dooms day critics would say Greenbay & Buffalo have better olines etc. Really? I did not see that. Its the NFL and these guys are beings not stats. Beings make mistakes and the other team can make plays to. It does get old. I love every player on this team. 26-1 BABY
  13. Every team has injuries. Hell Tampa could lose their best oline guy play #1 in the big game. KC does not have bad luck with injuries. Its inevitable. What they do have is a GM constantly trying t ad depth every minute of every day.
  14. Bills got so many breaks and lucky onside kick and still got blown out. CHIEFS DOMINATED.
  15. Bills have had all the breaks so far. KC is due for a BIG ONE!
  16. Kansas City Chiefs @Chiefs · 1h CB Bashaud Breeland has cleared concussion protocol and will no longer have a game status designation.
  17. Patrick Mahomes said his toe is "feeling a lot better." Mahomes was clearly struggling to move on what likely was a turf toe injury last week, but he said the injury has improved a lot in recent days. He even went as far as saying "it wasn't as bad as it looked." Mahomes will start against the Bills on Sunday after clearing the concussion protocol, but the toe injury will be a storyline. During his playoff career, Mahomes has been more lethal on the ground. With Mahomes' injury status clearing up, the betting market has settled on Chiefs as -3 or -3.5 favorites.
