First, right tackle Mike Remmers has been downgraded to out for the game, which is not much of a change, as he was already listed as doubtful by the Chiefs on Friday. The Chiefs will thus have a new starting right tackle for the game.

Apparently, coach Sean Payton was fibbing a bit when he said Thursday that Brees has "a ways to go" before he's back on the field as the starter. But after the Saints dropped one against the Eagles last week with Taysom Hill under center, New Orleans believes it's time for Brees to get back in the saddle in a showdown with Patrick Mahomes. Brees was 3-1 in four games as the starter. Brees will be more of a high-end QB2 in a potential shootout with K.C., and his return certainly raises the fantasy floors and ceilings of Alvin Kamara, Michael Thomas, and others.

The real concern is Fisher is also hurting.

The Chiefs were missing both their offensive tackles on Wednesday. Right tackle Mike Remmers (back) hurt his back in the team’s game against the Miami Dolphins. Chiefs head coach Andy Reid said that left tackle Eric Fisher had a tight back as well, so both players missed practice to start the week. Linebacker Damien Wilson (knee) missed his fourth practice in a row. He did not play in Sunday’s game against the Dolphins.

Lets see. KC is 21-1. Historically great. So the oline is at least average. Mahomes is seldom sacked. I have seen plenty of times that he has had enough time for a cup of coffee and a donut before choosing wide open receivers. Ill take this group, PER ANDY REID. Thus the run it back focus. You do not go 21-1 with a horrible oline. KC online, even with back ups, is serviceable. So MVP is not just about stats. Its not about PFF rankings. Its most valuable player. Its not about the talent around the player. Its about most valuable player in the NFL.Im not sure why QBS are the only ones in the conversation? Hey I think Kelce is the most valuable Chief this year. KC has proven they can beat good teams with the back up QB. Where would KC be without all his third down catches? I think Kelce leads the NFL in receiving yards. I say KELCE IS MVP

The Hill Back Flips are showing up, clowning, the opponent. The trick plays, even though a few have worked, around the goal line are a recipe for disaster and also a little arrogant. I think Andy is hung up on these plays , his genius, and it has resulted in more failure than success. None has cost KC a game YET.
