  1. How about a superbowl line currently 17-1. He makes the most of what he has.
  2. KC does not need to use a pick on a receiver. Sign a veteran looking for a ring on the cheap. Need a receiver? Put CEH out wide. Kc needs oline and linebackers.
  3. At 8-1 I think ,hope, KC is being extra careful so he is 100% for the playoffs.
  4. Not sure KC is thinking , worrying, about replacing Watkins. After all he has barely played this year and the team is 8-1. At this pace Watkins will be lucky to get anything much above veteran minimum as a free agent. Yes I hope he is healthy for the playoffs.
  5. STEFEN WISNIEWSKIC, KANSAS CITY CHIEFS Chiefs signed OL Stefen Wisniewski to the practice squad. Wisniewski will chill on the practice squad momentarily while he gets caught up to speed with the Chiefs playbook, but he's expected to crack the active roster for the final stretch of the season and into the playoffs. His veteran presence is a plus even in a backup r

  8. Chiefs activated Mecole Hardman from the COVID-19 list. Hardman will be cleared to play the Raiders on Sunday Night Football, and he carries flex consideration with Sammy Watkins (calf, hamstring) ruled out. Hardman's route share has fluctuated alongside Demarcus Robinson and Byron Pringle while Watkins has been sidelined with soft-tissue injuries. It's unclear how long Watkins will miss following his in-practice injury a few days ago. Nov 21, 2020, 4:20 PM ET SAMMY WATKINSWR, KANSAS CITY CHIEFS Sammy Watkins (calf, hamstring) was ruled out for Week 11 against the Raiders. Watkins was downgraded after an in-practice injury during the week coming out of the bye. His status for Week 12 and beyond is unknown, but he's flashed WR3/4 appeal when fully healthy for those with deeper fantasy bench spots. The Chiefs activated Mecole Hardman, who has been operating as the No. 2 or No. 3 receiver without Watkins, from the COVID-19 list ahead of Sunday Night Football.
  9. Schwartz out again. This may be a serious back thing? The Chiefs have ruled two players out — right tackle Mitchell Schwartz (back) and defensive end Taco Charlton (fractured ankle).
  10. Clyde Edwards-Helaire (illness) will play in Week 11 against the Raiders. Edwards-Helaire was absent from practice with an illness on Thursday but was still removed from the team's injury report Friday afternoon. If it was COVID-related amid other current outbreaks on the team, the organization certainly isn't airing it. CEH will suit up as a low-end RB2 as he's still only received eight and nine touches with Le'Veon Bell available behind him in the past two games.
  11. Sammy Watkins (hamstring) is questionable for Week 11 against the Raiders. Watkins was downgraded to limited participation at both Thursday's and Friday's practices. With Mecole Hardman still on the team's COVID list, it's possible Demarcus Robinson and Byron Pringle are both thrust into Kansas City's starting lineup by default. Fantasy players should consider Watkins a sturdy WR3 if he's available while Hardman simultaneously remains sidelined.
  12. Does not matter if they did or did not. This team has proven in can not run the ball on a consistent basis. Throw on first down and throw often. I have seen too many games start with a pathetic run attempt on first down leading to punts. What happened to that KC first drive offense? Reid trying to establish the run.
  13. Just throw the Ball! KC oline does not run block well. Raiders secondary is not special. Put it in Pats hand! Patrick wins big games.
  14. I hope its the exact opposite game plan. Chiefs simply can not run the ball well. Need to lead with the pass. Raiders secondary is nothing special. CEH may be out?
  15. Thats my point. It gives him all the leverage. So a half season contract for KC is not a great get. Hes not a proven starter yet. Sure there is no downside but I dont see any immediate benefit. He could be thrilled to sign at least two years or KC gets an option for year two. A 7 game plus playoffs deal will likely prove nothing.
  16. I think he was a free agent. A one year, 7 game plus playoff deal , does nothing for KC. He likely plays very little. If he does play , unlikely, & plays well he is a free agent next season. A two year deal makes more sense for KC.
  17. I hope KC gives him at least two years. Otherwise I dont see this as anything special.
  18. Chiefs head coach Andy Reid noted that Alex Okafor (ankle) returned to practice, and the Chiefs have designated for him to return from injured reserve. Both Okafor and cornerback L’Jarius Sneed (shoulder) don’t appear on the injury report, as Kansas City has yet to activate them from IR. Anyone currently on the reserve/COVID-19 list does not appear on the injury report, either. This includes Chiefs offensive linemen Eric Fisher, Mitchell Schwarz and Martinas Rankin, as well as wide receiver Mecole Hardman. They did not practice. There were also six Raiders added to their list on Wednesday. Offensive lineman Mike Remmers (rib) and cornerback Rashad Fenton (ankle) were the only two players listed as limited participants for the Chiefs. Wide receiver Sammy Watkins participated in a full practice for the first time since injuring his hamstring in the last game against the Raiders, which was back in Week 5. He is tracking to return for Sunday Night Football. Patrick Mahomes on Watkins on Wednesday: “He’s a threat in every way.
  19. I hope they all play. Just kick ass and give them no excuses.
  20. Alex Okafor is returning at the right time for the Kansas City Chiefs stretch run. Alex Okafor has struggled to stay healthy for this season so far for the Kansas City Chiefs, but he’s getting healthy at the right time as head coach Andy Reid announced that the defensive end was back at practice on Wednesday. Okafor has played sparingly this season—with only 79 total defensive snaps spaced out over four games—and multiple injuries have limited his impact. Most recently a hamstring kept him out of every game since Week 6, the team’s win over the Buffalo Bills, and the injury kept him out through the team’s bye week. Fortunately, Okafor is now ready to practice, which means it’s likely he’ll suit up and be active for the team’s upcoming game against the Las Vegas Raiders in Week 11. Going forward, the Chiefs are now entering the stretch run which will determine whether or not they will earn the top overall seed in the AFC—and the coveted lone first round bye in the conference.
  21. Nearly “the entire (Las Vegas) Raiders starting defense is going on the reserve/COVID-19 list because of high-risk close contacts,” according to a report from NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport. It is likely this is happening because tracers connected many players to defensive end Clelin Ferrell, who reportedly tested positive for the virus on Tuesday. Rapoport added that some Raiders will be cleared by Saturday and others by Sunday, as long as they continue to test negatively. Rapoport noting that these contacts being characterized as “high-risk” is key. “High-risk” close contacts need to be isolated from the team for five days, with the clock beginning the day after his exposure to the positive subject. Until the players heading to the list are cleared, they cannot practice. So regardless of availability, the Raiders will enter Sunday night’s game with a significant disadvantage.

  23. In general: Teams may not have much money to sign free agents next year and maybe some of those Chiefs will stay as a result.
  24. Raiders DE Clelin Ferrell (reserve/COVID-19) is expected to miss Week 11 against the Chiefs. The Raiders will be down at lest one defensive starter after Ferrell tested positive. Lamarcus Joyner is a high-risk contact of Ferrell and could also be held out this week.
  25. DEANDRE BAKERDB, KANSAS CITY CHIEFS Chiefs signed DeAndre Baker to the practice squad. NFL Network's Mike Garafolo reports this will confirmed in the coming days pending a last-minute snag. There's limited risk on the Chiefs end to bring him on to the practice squad, but Baker has to prove he's capable of handling himself off the field before being an actual contributor for the Chiefs down the stretch. Kansas City would be one of the best culture fits for a player like Baker who has a lengthy off-field history. RELATED: New York Giants
