  1. Most likely scenario to replace if he doesn't come back is for Chiefs to move LG Remmers to RT and put Allegretti a… Chris Brown @ChrisBrownBills Chiefs RT Mitchell Schwartz has a back injury. Return questionable. Chiefs OL already down their LG Osemele. #Bills #KCvsBUF
  2. @mattderrick Without Schwartz Chiefs would have mix up offensive line. Could plug in Yasir Durant, or move Mike Remmers to tackl…
  3. Adam Teicher @adamteicher Mitchell Schwartz has gone to Chiefs locker room
  4. Reid said , this week presser, he is still rehabbing and getting close..
  5. I think the Bills win 41-38. Chiefs oline issies are a big concern this week. Seems Chiefs are thinking they are in the playoffs already where as the Bills have something to prove. Bills hungry Chiefs not so much. Allen is the real deal. Most think Mahomes is the best NFL QB ever , alone at the top. I think Mahomes is a top 5 QB and not better than the others. Take away a Watkins and ad pressure, you see a very good top 5 QB and not the greatest ever. Put any other of the top 5 on the KC roster and they put up amazing numbers too. I think Allen is also a top 5 QB. The Mahomes edge is a never give in attitude.
  6. Does Kc get a comp pick when he signs somewhere else next year?
  7. Le'Veon Bell's contract is worth $690,000 with an additional $1 million in incentives. The Jets still owe Bell $6 million this year, so Bell opted for the best real-life landing spot instead of a possibly bigger pay day in Miami or Buffalo. For this little money, this was a solid mid-year signing for Kansas City while Clyde Edwards-Helaire makes rookie-year adjustments in pass protection and between the tackles. Bell will be eligible to return Week 7 and has some flex appeal immediately as the potential short-yardage back. Long term, touches between Bell and Edwards-Helaire will be dependent on how each back plays in the offense, but it'd be a surprise if this weren't a two-back committee of some sort. SOURCE: ESPN.com
  8. Agree. Its like the talking heads still saying " defense wins championships". Its just not true anymore. SF lost because they only allowed their QB to pass like 8 times in two playoff wins. Then they expected the guy to be ready to throw in comeback mode. They had D and a good running game but lost. Yes they could have also won but my point is you dont have to be running & playing D to win it all.
  9. At this point, if a trade is to be made, KC needs a player better than what they and not a project or future potential. KC needs a proven player before just throwing draft picks around like candy.
  10. You may be correct yet Miami was in the discussion. That may have pushed KC to add $.
  11. I read CEH is still weak in pass protect and Bell is very good. So?
  12. I think he will be the guy from game 6 on. Just needs to get familiar with a few parts of the playbook to get started. I also think KC is not thinking CEH is ready for the big role as they thought he would be.
  13. Im fine with the signing. One downside , because you asked , is less cap space.
  14. Chiefs agreed to terms with RB Le'Veon Bell, formerly of the Jets. The Chiefs seemed to be dueling with the Dolphins for Bell's services, but it's not surprising the reigning Super Bowl champs won out. Due to the league's COVID-19 protocols, Bell will be ineligible to suit up against the Bills on Monday. That leaves Week 7 against the Broncos as his Chiefs debut. The question immediately becomes the workload delineation in the Chiefs' backfield, as No. 32 overall pick Clyde Edwards-Helaire has sputtered since an impressive opener vs. the Texans' bottom-basement run defense. That has been especially true in early-down/short-yardage situations, where Bell figures to receive immediate opportunities. Bell will also be a threat to CEH's bread-and-butter pass-catching work. Even if CEH remains the lead back in a committee, this obviously devastates his RB1 value, and perhaps even knocks him out of the RB2 ranks. This is not a LeSean McCoy-style signing. Bell probably has more left in the tank than Adam Gase would lead you to believe, while coach Andy Reid unlocks running backs like few others. Bell could claim No. 1 duties and render CEH a COP back. CEH would do well to put on a show vs. the Bills' underachieving def
  15. Thats a little overplayed. This was an Andy pick. Im sure many discussions were had prior to and Patrick is not a GM. Of course any QB would want as many toys as possible.
  16. Not yet! The point is that CHE may well be a star but RB is not that important in the new NFL. Look at the really good backs that were free agents and signed late on the cheap. At this point I want that #1 pick back. Could have been a top LB or Lineman. No holes to run through so I doubt Bell has much more success running that the others. He may be an awesome benefit in the screen game etc.
  17. I think the leaders on this team will keep it under control or the guy will be cut.
  18. I want that #1 pick back. Calichief said it many times before " RBs are a dime a dozen". Look at the good backs that signed this year for next to nothing.
  19. LE'VEON BELLRB, KANSAS CITY CHIEFS Chiefs agreed to terms with RB Le'Veon Bell, formerly of the Jets.
  20. Wisnewski was a free agent mid season pick up. Chiefs can wait it out. After all they have won 13 out of the last 14. No reason to make a knee jerk move.
