  1. Adam Teicher @adamteicher Chiefs blitzed against Russell Wilson 6 times in his 9 dropbacks on Denver's first drive. Got pressure just twice b…
  2. Give the play calling to Nagy. Reid is simply never going to commit to running the ball. Never.
  3. Yes he made ONE PLAY. To some extent that is a bit lucky. So if you are ok with a 7th round pick, that has not played well sense then, in the playoffs due to injury of a starter thats ok. Everyone is entitled to an opinion and I respect yours. For me its taking a real gamble. If my team is 6-6 maybe not so much. KC is playoff bound and 9-3. Lack of depth concerns me a bit.
  4. My preseason predictions agreed that this is not the year. 2023 and forward is looking good. This year is a bit of a reset. Does not mean throw in the towel this year? The best team does not always win the SB. Chiefs did not play PM much at all year one and that worked just fine. Having better depth at corner and safety would not stunt these guys growth. Is it possible that letting a 4th round player with potential upside crash and burn will stunt his growth? Do you really want a 7th round guy replacing Sneed or McDuffie in the playoffs? To me that is throwing in the towel.
  5. Hey I support the guy and hope he becomes an asset. . If this were playoff week then the lack of quality depth at Corner and Safety would be a huge issue. If Sneed or McDuffe goes down who plays? Playoff time against good QBS? Baptism by fire is like arson.
  6. Exactly. Dont let these guys looking for big paydays drag it out until the absolute NFL deadline. KC needs to establish its own deadline.
  7. Joshua Williams has struggled over the past three games, allowing 12 receptions on 15 targets for 221 yards, two touchdowns, and a 158.3 passer rating. This isn’t unexpected as he’s a rookie from a Division II school and the Chiefs are deciding to do a trial by fire with their rookie corners. The Bengals also have an elite receiving core and I’m never going to blame a fourth-round rookie for not shutting down an elite player. Williams will get better as he plays more snaps, but Steve Spagnuolo will continue to put pressure on him and he will play an important role in another Super Bowl run for the Chiefs.
  8. I made this point many times over the past two seasons and received lots of negative reaction. Thats ok. Truth is that this trade for Brown and the Clark trade are probably keeping KC from being the dominate team. Yes Clark gets some credit, way too much in my world , for a SB Win. Well now KC is paying the price for these poor trade & signs. Thuney is expensive but did not cost high draft picks. Clark & Brown are examples of moves I hope KC never makes again. Both are performing average at best and Chiefs are in Cap Crap too. Brown also screwed KC during the free agency period. He played games with his agent and KC allowed him to tie their hands thinking they would get more cap space. Maybe a pass rusher?
  9. AND THATS YESTERDAY. Fact. Let me say the Overreaction Consortium vs Sky is Falling Astronomy Club. LOL Cinn was a better team yesterday. Thats it. Out played and out coached YESTERDAY. This is the same team that torched SF on that day. Its one game not a trend or season. Every team has issues. Every forum looks like this after a loss. There is no team that is a clear BEST TEAM. Heck how can the Chiefs only be favored by 8.5 against the Donks? The difference between a win and loss in the NFL is very small. Most games are within one score. Every team is one key injury or arrest or suspension from a winning season to losing. One key injury during the game makes a difference.
  10. Looks like THE SKY is FALLING Astronomy Club is back on the bus together. Have not heard from the Panty Patrol this season?
  11. Agree Jones is the only play maker on that side of the ball. Maybe Bolton. Dline is not the worst in the entire league but certainly has room for improvement. Reid also looks like a poor signing. The Safety play is not great. D gets few meaningful turnovers. To me its much more than the dline. We know what the defense is. Average. KC lost because the offense failed to execute at a high level. The money & focus is on that side of the ball. Chiefs D played well enough to get a win. The offense was not good enough. Mahomes was not good enough on this day. Reid did not make adjustments from the AFCCG. Same result second half. The offense lost this game.
  12. KC is one of the top AFC Teams. They are not the best team. There is no best team. Every team and fan base says we beat ourselves. Cinn was the better team yesterday. They made plays and KC did not. I think the Bengals roster is better and their QB is elite. KC has the Mahomes slight advantage at QB. Thats it. Cinn is better in all other areas. They won three in a row. That is proof enough. Adding to that, coaching also counts. They have out coached KC three times in the second half. Three times. Yes they have better coaching at least in this match up. Will they beat KC 4 times in a row? Not likely.
  13. They are AFC Champs. They are special. They beat KC 3 times in a row and that is special.
  14. Not good for sure. A percentage of drop backs would be a better stat. KC probably throws the ball more than most.
  15. Dolphins signed OT Eric Fisher. Fisher last played with the Colts in 2021, playing on a one-year deal after suffering a torn Achilles in 2020. The former No. 1 overall pick could line up at either tackle position for the Dolphins, with left tackle Terron Armstead (pectoral) and right tackle Austin Jackson (ankle) both dealing with injuries. Jackson was placed on injured reserve on Monday and will now miss at least the next four games, while Armstead could be in line for a Week 14 return against the Chargers. Fisher played on 874 last season with the Colts, allowing 41 pressures and seven sacks per PFF.
  16. Really does not matter. Its like playing the KC offense.
  17. Chiefs D does not get many turnovers. No playmakers on the back end.
  18. Bengals offense is really good. They have lots of weapons.
