  1. Im not saying sit them. Need more depth and maybe not play Williams as much. Who plays with the next injury?
  2. No Kelce receptions. Nice job by Cinn. The offense needs to win this.
  3. Cinn is like KC. Lots of weapons. Someone will always be open if you dont get pressure with 4. Chiefs dont so they must roll the dice. Maybe they should just rush three.?
  4. I think that was a good decision. Field goals against PM not going to get it done. Wish KC had not kicked their field goal
  5. Wow Game changing goal; line stand!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  6. As I predicted. No rush without blitzing and Burrow is great against the blitz. Next year the young guys will be more competitive. But this year is what you have. KC should have added some veteran DBs.
  7. JuJu going into blue tent after that CTB tackle on the fourth down conversion
  8. Joe Mixon (concussion) is out for Week 13 against the Chiefs. Mixon hasn't cleared the NFL's concussion protocol two weeks after suffering a brain injury. He practiced this week, indicating he could make a Week 14 return. Samaje Perine is expected to continue as the Bengals' No. 1 running back
  9. Thuney is out. Chiefs declared WR Kadarius Toney, QB Shane Buechele, Toney S Deon Bush, DE Joshua Kaindoh, G Joe Thuney, T Geron Christian, and DE Malik Herring inactive for Week 13 against the Bengals.
  10. Saturday’s NFL transactions report listed two roster moves for the Kansas City Chiefs: the elevations of second-year safety Zayne Anderson and wide receiver Cornell Powell from the practice squad to the active roster in advance of Sunday afternoon’s game against the Cincinnati Bengals.
  11. CINCINNATI — The Chiefs added Joe Thuney (ankle) and Frank Clark (illness) to the injury report ahead of Sunday's matchup with the Bengals. Both players are officially questionable. Thuney has appeared in all 10 games this season. The veteran guard was added to the injury report on Saturday. Clark was added on Sunday morning.
  12. I have a good feeling about this game. Mahomes will put this team on his back and win this.
  13. FRANK CLARKEDGE, KANSAS CITY CHIEFS Chiefs EDGE Frank Clark (illness) is questionable for Week 13 against the Bengals. Clark was added to the injury report Sunday morning, likely coming down with the illness overnight. He is a true game-time decision, though we will get an answer in a few hours. Clark has three sacks and four TFLs this year.
  14. KC wins 75% of all games started by Mahomes. They have played mostly home playoff games with Mahomes. Home field is a slight advantage. Home field advantage in the NFL is not what it was in the past. My point is simple. The bye is good for players. Does not matter to me if KC is playing at home or on the road in the playoffs. I prefer home but dont worry about it. Note: Playoff games are slowly eliminating the average real fans. You get a lot of the super rich famous folks buying tickets and driving up prices. Lots of season ticket holders sell for huge profits.
  15. The bad news is good news. Losing to quality teams is not an issue. Plus most of those loses are close games. Cant win them all.
  16. I think KC may score on every possession. It is possible and may be needed. Mahomes and Reid both choked in the Title game. They have a bad taste left from that implosion. The offense must know this game is on them. Chiefs miss Hardmans speed and his gadget role. Especially in the red zone. It will be Mahomes needing to execute his best game ever to win this. I think he will. I like seeing him with Nagy on the sidelines. Nagy is the Mahomes whisperer. Chiefs D against the pass is last in the league with no pressure. To get pressure KC must blitz. Burrow , like Mahomes, is excellent against the blitz. The Chief Pass D failings has somehow not been fully exposed. Playing two third string QBs makes the numbers look better than the reality.
  17. This could be a game decided by a lucky play. Cinn may have a better overall D than KC. Offense is advantage Mahomes. I think Mahomes delivers one of his best games ever and KC wins by 3.
  18. Denver Broncos set new standard for long-term franchise dysfunction Can the Broncos turn things around? Sure. It’s going to start with looking at the head coaching position, though. Hackett was an attractive hire if they land Rodgers, but without his guy, it’s clear that he’s a fish out of water. This should not have come as a surprise to Paton or the Broncos brass, either. In 4 years as an offensive coordinator prior to his stint in Green Bay, Hackett only had 1 offensive rank in the top half of the league in scoring – the 2017 Jacksonville Jaguars. The 2018 Jaguars actually fired him because of how bad the offense was just a year later. The Russell Wilson issue is the biggest one facing the Broncos at the moment, however. The most logical out for the Broncos on the Wilson deal would be in 2027 when they would only have to eat $12.8 million in dead cap money if they were to cut him. The numbers prior to that? 2023: $107,000,000 2024: $85,000,000 2025: $49,600,000 2026: $31,200,000 Ouch. Add to that the fact that Denver doesn’t have a first or second-round pick in May’s draft and it makes the pill even harder to swallow for a rebuild. The Broncos were already sellers at this year’s trade deadline after unloading Bradley Chubb to the Dolphins. If they want to get some of the draft capital back that they lost in the Wilson deal, they’re going to have to look at unloading some additional young players in the off-season. https://arrowheadaddict.com/2022/12/02/denver-broncos-standard-long-term-franchise-dysfunction/
  19. Just Media BS. Hype for ratings, clicks and likes. Something for the 24/7 news to talk about.
  20. Agree HFA in todays NFL is not what it use to be. Im sure the players enjoy the week off. Everything is media hyped to create ratings. KC is 2-2 in AFC Champ games hosted at home.
  21. https://www.arrowheadpride.com/2022/12/2/23488697/arrowheadlines-pass-coverage-named-the-chiefs-biggest-weakness Arrowheadlines: Pass coverage named the Chiefs’ biggest weakness Teams have been able to move the ball on Kansas City. When the Chris Jones-led pass rush doesn’t get home, Steve Spagnuolo’s defense allows an 81.6 QBR to opposing passers. That’s the worst mark in football. The good news for the Chiefs is that they pressure quarterbacks at the third-highest rate, which has prevented teams from exploiting their secondary. If they do get upset in January, I would expect it to come in a game in which the pass rush has a quiet day.
