  1. I hope he is tagged or traded or both. I think KC will keep him. He has done an above average job and has hardly missed a play. We shall see.
  2. I think he gets tagged and KC drafts he replacement. I think the tag is around 19 million?
  3. Brown was the top LT the last 10 games per PFF. Thats not suck. I dont like the trade and sign but I think KC will pay him. Mahomes probably has a vote. Mahomes MVP tells a different story.
  4. I did not suggest changing Mahomes. You just live with the mobility potential for injury.
  5. I think every LT would have the same issues. Mahomes protection has been top 5 all year. Oline is not an issue for KC and has been very healthy all season. You dont get all pros at every position. Brown will be back. Wylie may test the waters. The other guys like Niang and Kinnard are still in play.
  6. Agree. It may force KC to use more 3 tight end sets and run the ball more. I think Mahomes will still extend a few plays and run only when the situation is desperate like convert 4th and 4 or game over.
  7. He did not get beat often unless a play was extended. Second half a one legged Mahomes stood in the pocket. Most teams are getting a pass out in 2.5 seconds. Mahomes extends plays. Love that abouit him. Next week we may see Mahomes getting it out quick. Allowing pressure: I read that Brown was the top LT over the last 10 games or so. Wylie was #12 RT. The opponent has great players too and they are going to make some great plays.
  8. I rewatched the game. The oline did a really good job of giving Mahomes & Henne plenty of time. Especially when the team was forced to get it out faster. The Magic of Mahomes is extending plays and that creates more pressure and potential for injuries. The tackles played well. No position platers played perfect. D had lots of pressure # 5 in the league this year and plenty of pressure yesterday.
  9. https://www.msn.com/en-us/sports/nfl/the-chiefs-broke-the-jaguars-with-their-pass-rush-then-swept-up-the-pieces/ar-AA16BwJf?cvid=20eceb526d2f41708596a23b74aea567 The Chiefs and defensive coordinator Steve Spagnuolo found ways to bring pressure on seemingly every passing down. The Jaguars and head coach Doug Pederson worked around it as long as they could. They lost as a result. This wasn’t unexpected. The Chiefs spent 2022 injecting chaos into the pocket. Their 24.9 percent pressure rate ranked fifth in the NFL. Their 55 sacks were second most. Pederson knew this and tailored his offense around it. To a fault. Lawrence engineered a conservative passing game seven days after throwing four first half interceptions against the Los Angeles Chargers. His average target depth dipped to 5.0 yards in the first three quarters. His average time to throw was a mere 2.51 seconds — below his season-long 2.59, which was already fourth-lowest in the league. Kansas City had pressure in Lawrence’s face all night. Pederson was able to plan around this to the tune of only two sacks and seven quarterback hits, but wasn’t able to turn that into sustained drives and meaningful points. Jacksonville’s answer to the Chiefs’ constant pressure was to get the ball to its playmakers near the line of scrimmage and hope they would make plays.
  10. Sneed is in the blue tent. Lets hope they dont give up a quick score. Play safeties deep.
  11. Too much depending on first year guys. DB play has been lousy all season. Im just surprised they cant stop the run.
  12. There will be no next week without Mahomes. Sorry. Henne is unlikely to lead this team top a playoff victory.
