  1. Was a little cap savings and a 7th worth depending on rookies in the Big Games? He must have pissed someone off. Chiefs have no depth at CB.
  2. A 7th round pick? Hardly seems worth trading him. He was at least some depth.
  3. Falcons acquired CB Rashad Fenton from the Chiefs for a conditional seventh-round pick. Fenton had played 74% of the snaps in every game from Week 1 to Week 5 and had 500+ defensive snaps in each of the last two seasons for Kansas City, but he was replaced by their youth at cornerback. The Falcons, badly in need of depth at the position with Casey Hayward and A.J. Terrell dealing with injuries, get someone with some actual experience to help bolster the position. This reads like a decent move for Atlanta, though Fenton is a pure rental as he's in the final season of his rookie deal.

  5. The only one dealt so far is Chub and Denver was not trading him to KC. Teams likely want more from KC because they are a top three team year after year. Getting an AFC deal is really difficult when you have hosted 4 straight AFC Games.
  6. Sky is Falling Astronomy Club Member makes an appearance. LOL
  7. JEFF WILSONRB, MIAMI DOLPHINS Dolphins acquired Jeff Wilson from the 49ers.
  8. Dolphins acquired EDGE Bradley Chubb and a 2025 fifth-round pick from the Broncos in exchange for RB Chase Edmonds, a 2024 fourth-round pick, and San Francisco's 2023 first-round pick. The Dolphins certainly are going for it, as they've signaled since the Tyreek Hill trade. Chubb will give them another devastating option off the EDGE, and heading into the final year of his rookie contract Adam Schefter reports that Chubb will sign a long-term extension with the Dolphins. Miami has roughly $18 million in free cap space for 2023 per Over The Cap, so they'll likely have to do some re-negotiations to tie all this together. But in the short-term, it's a huge acquisition for the Dolphins' chances of making the playoff
  9. Bears acquired WR Chase Claypool from the Steelers for a 2023 second-round pick. Ian Rapoport reports that it is Chicago's own second-rounder, not Baltimore's via the Roquan Smith trade. Claypool will immediately slot in as Chicago's No. 2 receiver, which should give him more volume in fantasy even if the offense he's joining isn't exactly prolific throwing the ball. He may eventually overtake Darnell Mooney. It's a bit puzzling that the Bears decided to give up a second-rounder for a third-year receiver without a 1,000-yard season to his name and just a year-and-a-half of his rookie deal left. But they did have a major hole to be filled at the spot and were using reclamation projects like Equanimeous St. Brown and N'Keal Harry as starters.
  10. Dolphins acquired EDGE Bradley Chubb and a 2025 fifth-round pick from the Broncos in exchange for RB Chase Edmonds, a 2024 fourth-round pick, and San Francisco's 2023 first-round pick.
  11. Sports Illustrated's Albert Breer reports the Rams offered two first-round draft picks for Panthers EDGE Brian Burns. Last week's reports of Carolina fielding massive offers for Burns were not, it turns out, a smoke screen. The Rams, per Breer, were once again going with the "eff them picks" approach to team building as the team collapses on itself after its 2021 Super Bowl run. Burns is set to hit free agency and currently has four sacks, putting him on pace for a career year. That the Panthers didn't take two first rounders for Burns is stunning. The team seems incapable of committing to a full-blown rebuild.
  12. Titans have played a very weak schedule. I see KC actually dominating this game. Henry gets a lot of his yards on a long run each game. One long run wont get it done against KC.
  13. Ravens acquired LB Roquan Smith from the Bears in exchange for LB A.J. Klein and 2023 second- and fifth-round picks. The Bears have now traded a key member of their defense in back-to-back weeks, after trading defensive end Robert Quinn to the Eagles last week. Smith, has appeared in all eight games for the Bears this season, totaling 83 tackles, four TFLs and 2.5 sacks. The former No. 8 overall pick of the 2018 NFL Draft is a two-time Second-team All-Pro (2020, 2021) and is in the final year of his rookie contract. Baltimore will likely look to re-sign Smith next offseason, but will also need to work out a long-overdue deal with quarterback Lamar Jackson. The Ravens also sent linebacker A.J. Klein to the Bears in exchange for Smith.
  14. WR, KANSAS CITY CHIEFS Chiefs head coach Andy Reid said, "it will be a gradual process" when asked about working Kadarius Toney into the offense. Reid also added that Toney "is healthy now" after the second-year receiver reportedly dealt with a hamstring injury for several weeks prior to his departure from New York. Toney's gradual implementation into the Chiefs' offense isn't surprising, as he now looks to familiarize himself with a new scheme, quarterback and playbook. There's no reason to rush Toney into an offense that's currently ranked first in points per game (31.9) and second in passing yards per game (296.0). However, Toney proved to be one of the more explosive receivers in the league during his rookie year and would add another element to the Chiefs' potent offense.
  15. He will follow the money and teams like the Raiders will always over pay. Adams had 3 yards yesterday. LOL
  16. Its not 10 to 1. That means less than one pick each year makes the team. Every team has hits and misses. But hey its just your opinion and you get to keep it.
  17. Will be interesting for sure. I think if KC knows they are not keeping Brown they may make a big trade and extend Shuster. I hope the Chiefs will no longer allow free agents to negotiate up to the final minutes. Both Hill and Brown messed up the Chiefs offseason plans a bit. Give them a date well in advance of free agency and the draft to sign or move on..
  18. Hill, Jones, Bolton, Gay, Pacheco, just to name a few. Even the 7th round has been money for Veach. Missed a Million? Exaggeration? Trade and sign of Clark and Brown are misses in my book. Lost picks and paying huge salaries.
  19. I think Chiefs used draft picks to get Mahomes.
  20. ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler reports teams believe Browns RB Kareem Hunt is available for a fourth-round pick. The James Robinson and Christian McCaffrey trades have the Browns looking to move on from Hunt, who’s on pace for career lows in a contract year. Hunt’s $1.35 million salary is team-friendly but trading Hunt would save Cleveland $200K in per-game roster bonuses. Cleveland has also received “multiple calls” on CB Greedy Williams ahead of next week’s trade deadline.
  21. That was an error. It is a compensatory pick.
  22. His tweets on the way out were awful. KC needs to get this guy to shut up and learn how to be a KC Chief Professional. If Reid, PM and Co cant do it then nobody can. I think they will.
